Author's Notes: Whoa, sorry about the long time of no updating. lots of things have happened in my life but im back on track with updates. and as an apology i will upload two chapters tonight!
Kurt couldn't believe after 17 years he was finally marring Blaine. It wasn't the wedding they fantasized about as high schooler or even the wedding they agreed on as fiancs but it was happening. They had Rachel and Quinn with them and Santana met them at the court house.
Kurt couldn't stop smiling as they became the last couple in the court house waiting room. Blaine took his hand and kissed it grinning as well. Santana and Rachel were talking about her baby while Quinn scribbled in her notebook.
"I'm so excited right now." Blaine said.
"It’s like were teens again." Kurt giggled, "My heart is going a mile a minute."
"Mine too, you have everything right?" Blaine asked. "Any last minute changes are you sure you want my last name?"
"Yes Blaine I have everything. Of course I want your last name; I've been scribbling Kurt Anderson on note books for years. And I've already fallen in love with my new signature." Kurt rambled. Blaine pressed a kiss to his cheek.
"Anderson Hummel?" A bored secretary called as a couple came out of the court room with a little boy between him.
Kurt stood up and fixed his suit watching Blaine do the same. They took each other’s hand and led the way into the chamber. The judge was talking with the clerk who called the men in as the group entered.
Kurt stood to the left of the judge Rachel stepping behind him as his man of honor. Blaine to the right Santana at his flank. Quinn took a quick picture and sat off to the side to witness her friends get married.
The judge cleared her throat and began, " we are gathered her today to witness the marriage of one Kurt Hummel to Blaine Anderson. In June of 2011 New York passed the marriage equality law I became a judge that same month and to this day this is my favorite event to preside over. Let us start, Kurt Blaine take each other’s hand, I understand you have written your own vows but before that is there anything you want to say to each other in front of your closest friends? Kurt, you may go first." judge Grantham said. Rachel pulled a tissue from her bag as Kurt started.
"Blaine, from the moment I first met you I knew I would love you forever. And every word to come out of your mouth and song you've written and sung to me has proved this to be true. You would do anything to give it all to me. And you have, I know I'm making the right to choice today because it puts us in the books forever. You do so much for me Blaine. You're my best friend, my therapist, my chef, my nurse, my banker, my musician, and one day the father of our kids. Today I want to add one more thing to that list. Blaine Devon Anderson, I want, no, need you to be my husband. And I promise that will be the best husband to you because you will be so good to me.“ Kurt said holding on to Blaine’s hands tightly. Quinn smiled at the lyrics Kurt used and snapped another picture.
“Blaine, " the judge looked at him.
“My life has gone from one extreme to another and while I lose some friends or family members you are always there. And for too long I didn't show how much I appreciated it or you. You never know what you have until it’s gone, and I am just catching back up to you Kurt. I let you run this marathon alone for too long and now I'm right here by your side forever. I vow to be by your side the way you have been at mine, in sickness and health, you're marrying a billboard top recording artist so is richer and after taxes rich." Kurt stiffened a giggle as Santana covered her mouth, but Blaine continued uninterrupted. "I promise to make you proud to point at me and say that's my husband when we are out. And to never let you live a cold dark lonely night waiting for me. I love you so much, nothing on this earth can compare to my love for you but no one on earth knows until I make you my husband." Blaine said a tear rolling down his cheek.
"Kurt, if you would repeat after me, 'I, Kurt Hummel, take you, Blaine Anderson, to be my partner,' then from there say your selected vows.”
I, Kurt Hummel, take you, Blaine Anderson, to be my partner; I will love you through good and the bad, through joy and the sorrow. I will try to be understanding, and to trust in you completely. Together we will face all of life's experiences. Loving what I know of you, I eagerly anticipate the chance to grow together, I promise to love and cherish you. I will be your equal partner in a loving, honest relationship falling in love a little more every day with you through whatever life may bring us for all of eternity.
“Blaine repeated after me, I, Blaine Anderson, take you Kurt Hummel to be my partner. ' then finish with your selected vows.”
“I Blaine Anderson, take you Kurt Hummel to be my partner and my one true love. I will cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. I will trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love, from this day forward for as long as we both shall live.
"The rings please.” judge Grantham said. Kurt turned to Rachel and took the silver band holding Blaine’s hand delicately as he slid the ring on.
“Blaine, this ring symbolizes my desire to have you as my partner.” Kurt said smiling as the ring slid on.
Blaine took the ring from Santana and placed it on Kurt finger reciting, “Kurt, this ring symbolizes my desire to have you as my partner.”
“If anyone can so just cause on why this couple should not be wed please speak now or forever hold your peace. “Judge Grantham said looking at the three girls. “Very well. By the power vested in my by the state of New York I now pronounce you husbands. You may kiss your partner. "
Blaine leaned forward and kissed Kurt Quinn catching the picture just before they pulled away. “Now for the fun part, let's get that marriage license signed.“ Judge Grantham smiled walking to the table.

They enjoyed the rest of the weekend in New York locked away in their hotel until it came time to come home and plan the reception. Sunday night, after the short flight home Kurt and Blaine laid in bed together Kurt's mind running a million miles a minute about getting a reception together in the next few days, while Blaine thought about how happy he was and how much he wished his brother was around to see it happen.
“Red and yellow roses, or more autumn leaves and orange flowers.” Kurt asked things like that all night typing Blaine’s answers into his ipad.
“What’s our first dance song?” Kurt suddenly asked looking over at Blaine. “I have everything but our dances and that takes the most time.”
Blaine yawned, “Actually I was talking to Quinn about it and she wants to sing Elvis Presley's can't help falling in love. Is that alright? "
“Are you kidding me, I love that song and to hear what ever Quinn has will be great. I'm also making Rachel Mercedes and anyone else who can sing go sing, but I've hired a pianist." Kurt said.
Blaine looked at Kurt, “okay, time for bed," he took the tablet from Kurt’s hands hitting save and leaving it to the side pulling Kurt under the covers.
Kurt laughed taking his glasses off and shutting off the lamp and snuggling next to Blaine falling asleep quickly.
