"Oh my god! Kurt what happened to your face? Why are you grounded? You should have come over yesterday, Blaine and I had a blast. Why didn't you?"
"Whoa Rachel, let the guy breath," Blaine said handing Kurt the coffee. "One non fat mocha latte," Blaine said with a smile.
Kurt accepted it and rejoiced as the hot substance tracked down to his stomach and warmed his body.
"Zaiah and I are done. I'm grounded because I told Burt everything. I didn't come over yesterday because this." he pointed to his face, "was much worse."
The bell rang before Rachel could add her two cents. Blaine gave Rachel a hug, and to Kurt's surprise he received a hug as well. Once he was out of hearing rang Rachel pulled Kurt to focus. "What happened to you and Zaiah, Blaine wouldn't tell me."
"Rachel, Zaiah tried to... he was high and he hit me. I called you to come pick me up but when you didn't answer I called Blaine. I stayed at his house which is a really nice house over the river in a gated community."
"Oh wow, what did you do at his house?" Rachel asked as they walked to their next class.
"Nothing, I ate breakfast with his mom and helped her with the crossword." Kurt said. "But there was this thing he did that I can't get over. That night he gave me his bed and slept at his desk. I don't know why he would do that if he had bruised ribs."
"Kurt you may not have noticed because you are blinded by the letterman jacket but Blaine is a gentleman. Opens doors, pays for lunch, says yes sir no ma'am, I'm pretty sure the 50's are looking for him." Rachel said. Before stopping at her classroom door. "See you at lunch." She said kissing his cheek and walking away.
Kurt thought about what Rachel said, Blaine was a gentleman. His mannerisms, his style of cloths, even the way his mom acts. It was time took off the social class blinders and see Blaine for more then the football superstar.
It didn't workout to well, when Rachel and Kurt got to the cafeteria Blaine was in the front with all the jocks and he was climbing on the table with cheerio pompoms. "Oh boy," Rachel said as Blaine called the group to attention.
"I have been challenged to be a cheerio for a day, apparently its harder then playing football." Blaine said as the football team roared with laughter. The Quinn stood and climbed on the bleachers.
"You're on Blaine Anderson, but before you stand in practice with coach sue lets see how far you can get with." Quinn snapped her fingers and the speakers began to play Shut Up and Let Me Go by the Ting Tings.
Blaine took off his jacket and started copying every cheer move she did gaining cheers and laughter from the crowd.
"I swear he's good at everything." Kurt sighed as did a back flip in sync with Quinn.
Quinn looked at him and laughed right before she did a toe touch. Blaine looked at the crowd and laughed when Finn said, "accept the defeat!"
Blaine jumped and did a clean to touch that sent the crown crazy right before he flipped off the table. The music was cut off abruptly as principle Figgins yelled, "off the tables students please return to your lunch."
Everyone returned to their chairs and Rachel and Kurt sat with the glee kids.
"Hey Kurt, why are you grounded?" Mercedes said as soon as they sat down.
"Oh I told my dad about my secret ex boyfriend." Everyone gave an awkward oh sigh.
"I'm so glad Blaine is friends with all of us." Mercedes said as him Sam and mike came to the table.
"Hey guys," Blaine said as Sam went over to Mercedes and mike kissed Tina. Blaine set his hands on top of Rachel's shoulders, "guys want some victory cake? There's enough for like a million people." Sam said sitting beside Mercedes making her smile.
"Yeah, you can watch me make a fool of myself in cheerio uniform." Blaine chimed. He looked over at Kurt and smiled.
"Wait how did you do all that?" Rachel asked looking up at him.
"I took ballet last summer to give me a competitive edge to my football game. I'm pretty sure I pulled another muscle with the toe touch though, but we can't let Quinn know.
Mike threw his hand up for a high five, "dude, I took ballet too."
"You know any ballroom techniques?" Blaine asked growing excited.
"Classic. Do you?"
"Latin, did we just light the fire to an epic bromance?"
"Dude were slow dancing in a burning room." Mike laughed. "We'll have to chorography something for sectionals."
Kurt watched Blaine and Mike laugh and interact and saw right through the Football jerseys on both boys. They were more like the Glee kids then he thought. Kurt was done with the stereo types. He liked Blaine and now he had to show Blaine just what he meant.
