"I - well-- was... um... wasn't feeling well." Blaine stammered.
"Uh-huh, so it has nothing to do with you staring at lady boy over there?" Santana looked at Kurt.
"I like him, why is that so wrong." Blaine said watching Kurt close his locker.
"Do you have the time Blaine?" She suddenly asked.
He glanced at his watch. "9:57" he said slightly confused at her change of subject. A sudden shocking scream fills the hall. Blaine whipped around to see Kurt covered in red slushy.
"Ah the 10AM slushy, music to my ears." Santana said with a devilish smile. "Should I tell Puck you want one next?"
Blaine watched a small Asian come to Kurt's rescue as she pull him into a bathroom, he turned to Santana, "No, I think I'll be fine."
"That's what I thought, Sebastian is going to give you one more chance, you better show up or I will personally cover you in ice. Are we clear?"
"Crystal. I will see you on the field." Blaine walked past Santana shaking his head angry that he can't stick up to her much less anyone else in the stupid school. He stepped over the red corn syrup and heard Kurt ranting to Tina in the bathroom.
"Just be cause they can catch a damn ball doesn't give them the right to ruin my clothes. We should be on top. The theater troupe and glee club, we are the performers not those losers." Kurt's voice echoed with the running water. Blaine couldn't help himself he walked into the bathroom ignoring the sign and the tarty bell.
"Ah," Tina screeched but Blaine ignored her.
"Not all of us are losers," he informed Kurt.
"Get out Anderson. I know you slushied Rachel last week. You have no right to talk like aren't the ring leader. Just because you came to the theater show doesn't make you any different. Get lost! I don't care about a thing you have to say." Kurt said in rage.
The door opened and Quinn walked in. "Blaine what are you doing?" Quinn looked at Blaine then Kurt.
"I was just leaving." Blaine gave one look to Kurt then left.
"Don't talk to him." Quinn told Kurt as Blaine left.
Blaine had trouble focusing in his class. Kurt words ran through his head. Kurt did see him at the show last night. But it was hopeless Kurt was mad at Blaine and no one would approve their relationship. At lunch Blaine went to the weight room to get his head straight. He easily striped down to his gym clothes and strapped on a pair of gloves. The punching bag danced with every punch Blaine planted on it. He didn’t understand why social class was so important. He liked Kurt, but Santana, Quinn, and Puck, would kill him if he picked up a basement dweller to date. Then there was Santana's rich snobby cousin. Blaine punched the bag harder thinking about Sebastian.
Sebastian was a square, like every athlete Blaine knows. Four sides, that lacked personality, he wasn’t devoted to anything, quite frankly Blaine thought he was shallow and ignorant. Just like one Finn Hudson who came into the weight room during Blaine's lashing out to the Punching bag.
"What's your problem man?" Finn asked Blaine.
"I hate high school" Blaine said with each word he pummeled his fist into the bag. "Why do we even have a social pyramid anyway." The punching bag jumped around.
"This is about Kurt, isn't it?" Finn said keeping his distance. Blaine hit the bag hard, Finn didn’t have the right to just say his name, Finn pushed Kurt in lockers threw him in dumpsters last year, Finn wasn't allowed to say a word about Kurt Hummel to Blaine.
"Why can't I date him?!" Blaine looked at Finn with pure furry in his eyes. "Between Santana pushing her lacrosse playing privet school cousin on me and you and Puck slushie the one boy in the school I can actually have. Why it's stupid, and tedious and I have had enough."
"I think you should go for it." Finn said shocking Blaine.
"What?"
"I see you in the halls the way you just stare at him. We shouldn’t have made you slushie Rachel. You clearly didn’t want to do. And you're right it is getting old. I honestly don’t know why it goes on." Finn took a step towards Blaine. "Go out with him tonight. I'll cover for you with the guys and Satan."
"You mean that?" Blaine asked not sure if he should believe Finn or not.
"I mean it, we're bros." Finn put his fist out hoping Blaine will see that he truly meant what he said. Blaine stared at it for a moment before huffing and unwrapping his glove to meet Finn's fist.
"Thanks man." Blaine said.
Comments
So far so good, but I was just wondering. Are Finn and Kurt brothers in this fic? Are their parents even going out? Great fic though ;)
That's what I've been thinking about now that I'm writing the sequel and I'm thinking no. Carol and burt will start dating in part two. And I'm going to add a Furt friendship in pt two as well. I'm glad you like it though!! (:
