"Hey Mr. Anderson," Quinn gave her favorite teacher a smile. "What are you doing?"
"Grading papers, night school uses my class room and my apartment is way too loud to get any work done so I thought I'd grade to the scent of coffee." Blaine leaned back and looked at the crew. "Isn't it a bit late for a coffee break?" He joked.
"We are AP student Mr. Anderson, coffee is all we drink." She laughed. "I don't want to hold you up, I just came to say hi."
"Thanks Quinn oh you got a 96% on the test so far it’s my highest grade of both classes." Blaine informed her.
She gave him a wide grin before walking away. He tried to work efficiently but every time Kurt talked he lost focus and listened to what Kurt had to say. At this rate, he would have got more done if he stayed in his noisy apartments.
It was hard this whole relationship. Were they dating? Blaine shouldn't have kissed him yesterday. Their coffee dates were already off base when it came to student-teacher relationships, but the movie and dinner was pushing buttons Blaine knew better then to touch. Blaine knew better than to date his student and he couldn't decide if giving his number to Kurt a month ago was a mistake or not. He liked Kurt a great deal but he liked his job a lot more. He knew better, his coworker at East Bridge did the same thing when she dated her student. he scorned her for it yet here he is, not able to see the difference?
Kurt was turning 19 next month, they were both respectable consenting adults. But Blaine was Kurt’s teacher. He is suppose to mentor Kurt not date him.
The group left Blaine was able to focus a bit more until Kurt walked up to his table and sat down.
"We should talk," Blaine closed his laptop knowing nothing else was going to get done as Kurt sate across from him.
"You were staring," Kurt informed him. "Why did you kiss me?"
"Because you're amazing and handsome; I like you and that's the way I like to end my dates." Blaine said frankly.
"I'm your student." Kurt said in a small voice.
"I know, and that's what makes this so hard for me. I want to be with you Kurt." Blaine put his hand onto of Kurt’s.
"You know what you are risking for this" Kurt looked at their hands.
"I know, but I've never felt so strongly to someone. I think you would be good for me. And I will be so good to you." Blaine said.
"So what are you saying?" Kurt said with a smile tugging at the ends of his lips.
"I am asking you to be my boyfriend." Blaine said.
"So were boyfriends now." Kurt smiled. "Well then do I have to ask for another kiss? or do i just get them anytime now," Kurt raised and eyebrow making Blaine smile.
Kurt leaned over and Blaine met him in the middle as they kissed again. Blaine’s lips fit against Kurt’s perfectly but Kurt pulled away before Blaine was finished.
"I need to go," Kurt stood.
"Wait can you come over to my house tomorrow?" Blaine asked.
"Yes, I will be there, text me." Kurt stepped to Blaine and gave him another kiss. "Good night boyfriend."
