"I'm glad to join, I've always been a fan of the Trojans," Blaine smiled leaning back on his desk.
"Really, I thought all Dalton Graduates hated up, especially a Warblers like yourself." Figgins smiled.
"Oh I buried the hatchet long ago, I was just a freshmen when McKinley won nationals anyway." Blaine smile then the first bell rang, Blaine reached out to shake Figgins' hand again, "I think I will really love teaching here."
Blaine watched all of his students file into the classroom, the front row being left empty which Blaine didn’t really care about. The room was still relatively empty when the final bell rang.
"Welcome To AP Civics and Economic. My Name is Blaine Anderson. I'm New to McKinley but defiantly not new to Teaching. This is my 3 year, I just moved back from Michigan where I went to college for MA in American History and a Minor in Secondary education so believe me I know what I'm doing. I am looking forward to knowing each one of you, I really like McKinley." Blaine gave the class his speech. Mostly blank stares are returned but one student is leaning over to whisper to another. Blaine quickly takes the opportunity to know who the talkers were.
"Would you like to share that with the class mister..." Blaine looked at the whispering student.
"Kurt Hummel, and I wasn’t sharing anything important." He said sitting back in his seat.
"Alright. For starters I want to go over my class rules. I give respect only to students who deserve respect. My rules are simple. Be nice. I don’t want any name calling, talking over each other, disrupting me or other speakers." Blaine stated clearly to the group, "Besides we are mostly adults here. I am willing to treat you like an adult if you act like one."
Blaine proceed with the class overview and the syllabus. He spoke up until the bell then as a dismissal he told his students, "Tomorrow I want to know all about you be ready to speak,"
The next day Blaine sat behind his desk drinking gas station coffee looking through his email. Kurt walked in the room alone then glanced at his watch. Blaine looked up to the student in front of him, he roughly remembered who he was.
"Mr. Anderson, do you mind if I am in here before class? I had to get a ride with my brother and I'm tired of sitting in the car." Kurt said setting his Starbucks coffee on his desk.
"Yeah I don’t mind." Blaine said closing the internet on his computer and looking back to Kurt. "I haven't gotten around to memorizing names juts yet you were..."
"Kurt Hummel."
"Right, you told me yesterday, did you know the last history teacher? or take AP US history with her?" Blaine leaned back in his chair and looked at Kurt.
"No this is my first year taking AP, I need it to graduate I guess, it was either this or English and I'm not to keen on European Lit. I suck at math and science, and all that's left is art I don’t want to be in the same room as Mr. Masemen for longer then 3 minutes, art or not that guy gives me the creeps." Kurt explained.
"Oh I didn’t even know that about needed it to graduate. Well I'm here in the morning and in the afternoon if you ever need help with anything. I don’t give to much homework." Blaine said. "Have you been going here all 4 years?"
"Yes, my dad went here before me but I refuse to stay in Lima for my whole life." Kurt said in disgust.
"Where would you want to go?"
"New York, I went last year with the Glee Club to nationals and I just knew that was where I belonged." Kurt said.
"I've been just about everywhere, I was a band groupie one summer, I drove literally right behind the tour bus the whole time." Blaine laughed and Kurt chuckled.
"What band?"
"Oh they are a one hit wonder from the 90's you wouldn’t know them."
"You're not that much older then me. And I love music, I'm sure I know them."
With hesitance Blaine answered, "Blind melon."
"Didn’t they just get back together?" Kurt asked rising an eyebrow.
"Yes, and I did go the concert sadly they recognized me, but on the plus they let me hang out with them for a few hours." Blaine shook his head. "Have you applied for any colleges?" he asked changing the subject to something more appropriate.
"Yes I have, NYADA, but that was much harder to fill out then NYU. Then I also applied to a few art schools." Kurt said drinking his coffee again.
"What do you want to go in for?"
"I know I want to be on Broadway some day, but it’s a dream, I've got the voice and talent but I don’t really know, it’s a gut feeling. Then I want to be a Interior designer.
"Big dreams are good. I always say shoot for the moon cause even if you miss, you'll land on a star." Blaine smiled at Kurt who laughed.
"Something's telling me your not that good at science either."
"My best friend wants a PhD in Sociology, so when he is around he likes to share his mind but I'll stick to my history. At least here Pluto is still a planet." Kurt laughed again, and shook his head at Blaine.
Blaine couldn’t help but admire the boy. he was interesting, and quite different. The bell rang suddenly stopping the laughter. "What bell is that? I feel like there are 30 bells in the morning as it is." Blaine asked standing up adjusting his vest.
"That was the breakfast bell, it also lets the kids out of 0 hr classes and the students that ride the bus get off. There are 15 minutes before the bell til class starts then the bell after that is the final bell." Kurt explained.
Blaine nodded in understanding then walked to his white board and began to title the day's assignments for his 2 courses. Kurt caught himself staring at Mr. Anderson's ass. It was quite round, and maybe it was just the dress pants but his over all waist was small compared to the size of his ass. Kurt couldn’t help himself now, he looked at Mr. Anderson's legs and back up to the shape of his back. He was equally proportionate his torso to his legs. In the very back of Kurt's minds he wondered if Mr. Anderson was flexible.
Blaine walked back to his desk for a second to look at something then back to the board, Kurt watched him intently, the way he bit his lip while scanning papers, then the rise of his suddenly noticeable triangular eyebrows when he found what he was looking for. Walking back to the board Kurt was asking himself, boxer or briefs. Kurt's eyes opened wide when he realized what he was doing. He shook his head telling himself no before speaking up, "I think I'm going to find some of my friends, I'll see you in 20 minutes." Kurt stood leaving his bag but grabbing his coffee.
"See ya, Kurt," Blaine said not turning around. Kurt rushed down the halls to the senior commons and searched for one to talk to about his horrible mind. He saw Santana, she is way to inappropriate to share his ass staring incident with. Then Tina was with Mike at his locker being cute as usual, Kurt shook his head, Junior. then Quinn came walking down the hall, that will do and she has Mr. Anderson for 4th and understood what Kurt was talking about.
"Quinn," Kurt walked up to her with a smile.
"Morning, Kurt, what can I do for you today." she asked knowing they don’t talk as often as they use to sophomore and junior year. She approached her locker and he leaned on one to her left.
"You know how I said last year how gross it was that Berry like Schuester." he paused and waited for her nod. "Well I was checking out Mr. Anderson's and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet." Quinn stifled a laugh.
"Wow, does he even play for your team?" Quinn asked pulling books out.
"I think so, its only been a day, I can't tell yet," Kurt said.
"Ask Santana, her gaydar is flawless, she predicted you, Karofsky, that lunch lady." Quinn closed her looker and looked at Kurt.
"I rather not, can we just keep this between us. Rachel will laugh her ass off if she found out and she will never let me live it down." Kurt asked; Quinn smiled.
"Your secret is safe with me."
