Author's Notes: In Chapter 2 of Bonds Broken Kurt sees Julian. This is Julian. Its a three part tragedy Rating is PG-13
Erica and I walk down the roads of Boston late August watching all the towns people get excited over a baseball game.

"Lets go watch. See what all the hype is about." Erica looks to me with a smile.

"Ok, it could be interesting." I agree. We follow the roaring crowd towards a large field. Over the fence we see a diamond field with players already warming up, Erica gets this smile on her face that truly lights up my day. The line moves quickly as the ushers rush to get everyone seated before the game starts. Erica and I sit high over looking the field from the 1st base view.

Over the load speaker a raspy male voice starts. "Thank you for coming out to the National League big games against The Pittsburgh Pirates and our home team The Boston Americans!" The fans roar and chant their favorite players name. Erica claps and shouts with the fans.

"Come on," she nudges me, so I shout with her and she laughs getting that rarely heard squeak, as she takes a breath.

The announcer starts again, reading off the roster of both teams as they run on to the field to their positions.

"Is this seat taken?" A man asks Erica. Her smile fades a bit as she stares at the human. He isn't much of a looker, short dark brown hair parted and slicked back, his eyes were brown with red hue to them. He had a sharp jaw and an unforgettable smile.

"No, you can take you," Erica said. She turned from him to look at me and winks.

"I'm Erica." She holds her hand out.

He accepts it with a kiss, "Julian," he says in a slick voice, then licks his lips and smiles at her. He catches my staring eye, letting go of her hand he reaches over to shake mine. "Julian Radin." He gives me a firm handshake.

"Blaine Anderson." I give him a curt nod, but he returns his focus on Erica.

"I've never seen you before," he comments, "Are you new to town?"

"Brand new. Blaine and I just moved from Florida. We love to travel." Erica flirts. I look towards the field and see the game has begun as the pitcher throws and "Strike!" is said over the speaker.

"Really, I would love to travel, I've been here my whole life."Julian says.

"I think I have been everywhere on the west coast now and just about the whole north eastern states. I want to go to Paris next, but Blaine doesn’t like boats," she says.

"And Blaine is your?" Julian prompts.

"That’s a long story, we are best friends though, he is practically my little brother." She turns to me and presses a kiss to my cheek. I smile at her.

"More like your older little brother, I'm the responsible one." I laugh. She nods in agreement.

"How old are you two?"

"I'm 18, Erica is 24" I tell him, he gives a weird look. I realize that what we have accomplished doesn’t quite go with our age, I quickly recover, "So this is our first baseball game. Can you give us the rundown?

"Really, your first, well my brother is pitcher for the Americans. The game is really easy to understand though, " he explains it. Its not that easy. Something about 3 strikes means an out, and 4 balls takes you to first base. Then the players and team numbers. I got lost in the explanation but Erica was absorbing it all, stopping him when she needed clarification and nodding her head when things clicked.

Erica and Julian maintain a comfortable conversation after he explained Baseball she asked about Boston, that opened a whole conversations about the towns long with its history, little does he know we lived through it. But Erica is as animated and excited as usual. I can't help but think she likes this human.

The final inning started with Boston in the lead by 3. Erica was shouting and laughing, it was blissful to see her this enthusiastic about something. I thought swimming with the dolphin was her favorite thing in the world but I guess it Baseball now.

With the game coming to a fast end, The Pirates strike out and the crowd erupts with happiness as the Americans just won the national league series playoff. Julian wraps Erica in a hug that to my surprise she returns it.

“Can I take you out for dinner?” Julian asks Erica she looks to me.

“Go have some fun I’ve got bags to unpack. Don’t be out to late.” I smile and give her a hug then shake Julian's hand. I read a book while waiting for Erica's return. She walks through the door with a wide smile.

“How was it?” I ask.

“He is amazing.” She breaths out bad sits next to me. “We are going out again tomorrow” and they did. Every night for a month they go out. He takes her dancing or to theater performances. The circus is in town and he invites me to tag along.

We meet him in front of tent where he stands with three other people. I recognize his brother first we met at the baseball game I assumed the woman on his arm was his wife; she smiled sweetly at me I returned it with equal affection.

Then the third girl she was young blonde has soft aqua green eyes. “Blaine you remember my brother Joshua. This is his wife Katherine. And a friend of mine Lucy.”

“Hi,” Lucy, the blonde, smiles at me.

I look at Erica and she mumbles so only I can hear. “I did tell him about you. I’m sure he was just being nice. He didn’t want you to be alone.”

“Well if she pisses me off she becomes dinner.” I mummer back then turn to Lucy. “Hello Lucy.” I smile uncomfortable to her.

“Shall we go,” Joshua says. He and Katherine lead followed by Erica and Julian. Lucy and I walk behind them. We get seats in the front and watched excited as the show begins. I can’t help but looking over to Erica and Julian every few minutes.

He has his hands all over her whispering “you're so beautiful,” while pressing kisses to her neck.

Lucy keeps scooting closer to me. “So Blaine what is your favorite act?” She asks leaning in to my ear.

“I don’t really like any of it.” I tell her looking at Erica and Julian.

“Do you like her?” Lucy then asks.

I turn my head to look at Lucy, “Excuse me?”

“Erica. You look at her every other minute and huff whenever Julian does something to her.” She explains.

“No I don’t like her. I’m just watching out for her.” I turn to watch the elephants dance around the fire.

“Do you like me?” She asks moments later taking my hand.

“No,” I say flatly and remove my hand from hers. Her face falls and I huff.

I look into her eye, “you don’t like me you think I’m boring and Julian should set anyone up with me ever.” I compel her then look away.

She blinks for a moment. Then becomes completely absorbed in the trapeze act. The show ended and Joshua and Katherine go home leaving us.

Julian suggest a walk around town. But I compel Lucy to go home leaving Julian, Erica and I. “How do you like Lucy, Blaine?” Julian asks.

“She didn’t seem to interested in me.” I shrug.

“Oh that’s to bad. You two look good together,” he says. He returns his attention to Erica and asks how she likes the show. She is swooning over him. It is uncomfortable to look at. We veer back towards our house and he gives her soft kiss and tells her, “sweet dreams. Erica, you will be in mine.” I can not believe she is listen to this.

I shake my head and walking the house as she wraps her hands around him and kisses him again. I go to my room shut my door and lay face first into my pillow. I hear Erica come in the room and I grown loudly. “He is amazing.” The bed shifts under her weight.

“I don’t like him.” I say into the pillow.

“I think I’m going to tell him about me.”

I sit up. “No!”

“Well not like tomorrow I mean soon. I kinda falling in love with him.”

“Erica no. That is a horrible idea. Julian is strange. I mean the way he looks at you and always has to touch you its creepy. and he seems so possessive.”

She rolls her eyes at me. “Oh please Blaine. You know he was an orphan and never got adopted so he was thrown on the streets at 17 and instead of becoming a laborer he when right into the mayors office and requested a job.” Her eyes light up while she is talking to him. “He told that the second he saw me he had to know me. And now I hates not seeing my face every day or hearing my laugh. ”

“That’s not Romantic that’s creepy.”

“That’s not creepy. You must be jealous or something because you should be happy I found someone.” She scoffs.

“Get out,” I tell her.

“What!”

" If Your not listening to anything I have to say so you can just leave.” She stands and slams my door shut then I hear her leave the house. I fall back into my bed and shut my eyes.

Erica and I aren't close anymore, she is hardly ever home and she never talks to me when she is home. I get over it. If she wants to be ignorant then I will let her. I pick up an art kit in town and slowly teach myself how to draw. It’s a trying process but after a month or so I have my room decorated with pictures of horses or flowers, I haven't gotten around to drawing people yet, and I figured when Erica comes around she will be the first person I draw.

"Blaine!" I turn my head an she is in my room, "Go compel everyone you can I need a house full of servants and I need a big dinner Julian has something special planed and I told him we should do it at my house." she rushes her words. I just stare at her then smile.

"Ok, what do you want for dinner?" I say she wraps her arms around me and kisses my cheek.

"Everything, pull out all the stops, take all desperate measures you have too." She walks out the room then returns, "I want music too." I laugh and shake my head at least we are talking again.

By twilight the house is full of servers and music is playing. Erica makes me dress up and she even pulls a corset out. "Blaine," she calls. I walk into the room and see her standing in her undergarments with a corset on. "Will you help me tie it up?" she ask.

"Of course." I walk in and began lacing the back her sucking in every time I pull a string. "I thought you hate corsets." I say pulling again.

"I do, but Joshua and his wife are coming and that woman is always in a corset." I pull one last time and tie the strings. She takes a breath and smiles into the mirror. "Pass me my dress."

I turn and take her oversize gold and black dress. She takes my hand as she steps into the gown and I pull it over her curvy body. "You look beautiful" I tell her.

"Thank you. I love it when you wear your head down. " She responds turning to face me.

"I'm thinking about cutting it shorter." I say looking at my hair that stops at the bottom of my ear in a curly mess. I usually keep it pulled back.

The door down stairs is opened by one of my compelled servers, as Joshua, Julian and Katherine walk into the house. "I'll go entertain the guest, finishes getting ready." I say then run down stairs.

Joshua and his wife are standing in awe of our home while Julian is looking around for Erica. "Thank you all for coming. Let's go into the drink room, Erica will be joining us shortly." I smile and lead them towards the bar with 2 other servant.

"I didn’t know you had higher help," Julian comments, as his jacket is taken.

"They are new, rented out fro the evening, Erica wanted everything special for tonight." I explain. Soon, Erica comes into the room with a wide smile as Julian takes her hand and kisses her.

"You look stunning, Erica." he shares with only her. I decide to just keep the night going, having drinks served and constantly checking for dinner preparations. I escort the group to the dinning room for a meal surrounded by Lamb. I eat in the kitchen but keep a ear on the dinning room.

" Blaine is very sweet for hosting such a nice evening for you." Katherine says.

"Blaine is a sweetheart. I don’t know what I would do with out him." Erica says making me smile.

"We should actually bring Blaine out here I have and announcement." Julian says.

"Blaine," Erica calls for me. I straighten out my hair and walk out side to the dining room. A server brings me a chair and I sit beside Erica.

"Erica, I adore you, and you know that." Julian starts. " I want to be with you forever. to wake up next to you every morning til my days end would be the best way to live. and I know you love to travel but I have to know if you will stay I Boston for another year," he gets down on one knee and my mouth drops, "So I can make you Mrs. Julian Radin." he shows her a ring and she puts her hand over her mouth to hid her gasp of surprise.

"No!" I say and rise out of my seat. All the attention is pulled on me. "Erica you are not getting married. You two don’t even know each other. its been 3 months this is preposterous."

"Blaine, I can believe you." Erica says with tears in her eyes.

"Tell him everything. See if he wants to marry you after that." I storm out of the room knocking over any nice thing I see. Glass is left in my path as I go out and search for someone to eat. I hate to take out my anger on a human but they are just food to me, they were 40 years ago before I met Erica so If she wants to be with some little human I guess I can go back to treating them the way then deserve to be treated.
