Kurt let go of her and she smiled, Kurt removed his coat and joined her draining the girl without hesitation.
"I'll throw her out," Kurt offered, "I'm Kurtis by the way."
"Nora, swing by I'll give you a free night with anyone of my girls."
Kurt shook his head no, " Maybe I'll come, first but only for you." "
"now what kind of merchant would I be if I'm selling my self with my merchandise?" Nora arched an eyebrow and gave Kurt a sultry smile.
"A damn good one." Kurt muttered wiping the blood that trailed down Nora's chest with his finger then sucking on it.
Nora grabbed Kurt's face and slapped a hard kiss to his lips, " if you start me up you can't turn me away." Nora said.
"I don't want to." Kurt said grabbing the body disappearing down the road.
The following night Kurt walked into the whore house with hesitates he wasn't sure what he was doing. Only ever being attracted to men, he wanted something new, and he knew he could find that in Nora. His heart was shattered by chandler and if she could heal it then so be it.
Nora spotted him and stood from her spot at the bar walking to him. "so glad you could join us tonight. I see anything you like?"
"right now all I see is you." Kurt said. Nora nodded and took his hand leading him down a hall into a door with her name on it.
Nora began to undress herself but Kurt stopped her. "Nora this isn't work, your not on the job. I want you relax, I won't hurt you either."
" why are you doing this?" Nora asked.
"when we live forever why rush through this. I can have you for a night or a century," Kurt pushed her dress off her shoulder and kissed it softly.
"take me away from here Kurt, and this is all I know." Nora breathed falling into Kurt's hold, "I want to be free like you."
"We are never free Nora. If you run with me there is nothing but fire behind us."
"then let it all burn!" Nora said before she fell into an abyss of pleasure under Kurt.
The next night they left the town and never turned back, and after a year together Nora finally opened up to Kurt.
They moved to the east coast living in North Carolina when Nora watched her first boxing match. It was execrating, the way the men let it all go and just punch the light out of each other. She went every night until Kurt asked her why.
"Kurt, and I never told you this but I need to be surrounded by people constantly especially people with a lot of emotions. the whore house was different than the boxing ring. It is easier to manipulate the emotions are so raw. "
" why do you care about emotions you're a vampire. You can turn them off at any given time." Kurt said.
"emotions fill me up. They are amazing and always so delicious. I can taste them in my kills Kurt. " Nora said.
"that's impossible. Blood is blood. There is no taste its food, and eat and move on." Kurt told Nora.
" no Kurt I can. I'm special. I can feel it, I might be young but I'm special." Nora insisted.
"okay I believe you, but I need you to explain to me a little better." Kurt said.
"I can make an angry room angrier, horny guys walk in to my house and I make then horny enough to get two girls and pay for all night. I don't know what it means but it's fun." she sat and looked up at him, and "you don't believe me do you?"
"I do Nora. You can manipulate emotion, I bet with a little training you can change them entirely." Kurt said kneeling in front of her taking her hands. " We can change the world. You can end wars if you learn how to control this ...ability. "
Nora was convinced. She and Kurt trained and traveled her ability becoming stronger and stronger each year finally in 1918 she was powerful enough to push Kurt away.
"Kurtis, " Nora said walling into their bedroom. "do you really love me? "
Kurt turned and looked at her, "of course I do, and why wouldn't I?"
Nora sighed, "you are straying more and more, but and I think you should go. I know you're a homo, there is nothing wrong with that. We had fun but you need to go."
"Nora, I don't want to go. You and I we have a century together, and it's barley been a decade. Do you not love me anymore? "
" I don't, I I'm sorry but I need more." she walked over and kissed him. "I'm going to make it easier for both of us."
And like that Kurt had no feeling for her, he bid her good night and left. They met up in the 80s while Kurt was in Germany a mild affair resulted and a promise to be in Detroit when ever he needed her.
