"I'm sorry, I got carried away." Blaine said bringing me in close. he kissed my jaw softly and smiled at me.
"You always do, Blaine." Rachel sighed heading to her car. we arrived at the burial just as the family did. there were tons of cars still coming and the people stepping out of them all had Blaine's eyes, his fathers eyes. I placed my hand on the small of Blaine's back as we walked towards the building.
"Blaine," a older woman called as we came into view.
"Aunt Helen," Blaine said in a tight voice. He took my hand we walked to the family hearse.
"Where have you been?" She asked as Joe helped Lydia out and another male came out.
"Home, sick..." he answered awkwardly staring at his mother. She healed nicely, and her make up was flawless, not a smear on her eyeliner, that was until she saw Blaine, she bit her lip and turned to Joe.
"You boys make no sense, Cooper comes home and you disappear." She said gaining Blaine's full attention again.
"Cooper is back?!" Blaine didn't bother to hear her answer as he looked around other cars frantically. I followed Blaine's gaze and see him, I remember the picture above Blaine's bed cooper looked much older now. He didn't notice Blaine but he helped another woman out the car and headed our way.
"I can't, not now at least." Blaine mumbled pulling me between cars taking shaky breaths.
"Blaine, what is it?" I asked stroking his arms.
"Seven years, its been 7 years and he just comes back." Blaine shook his head, "I don't know what to tell him. I don't even know if I'm mad at him or not." Blaine exclaimed. Rachel came around the other side.
"Blaine, are you okay?" She asked.
"No, Rachel Cooper is here. I'm freaking out. What do I do?" He turned to her.
"Talk to him Blaine," she said putting her hand on his shoulder and cheek. "He is your brother. I'm positive he has missed you just as much as you’ve missed him." He looked between me and her before nodding his head.
"I'm right here Blaine." I said as we emerged from between the cars. Everyone was grouped separately, the Anderson's, noticeable by the eyes, by the building, George's coworkers gathered around a car talking. Cooper with another woman leaning on his rented truck, Blaine took a deep breath and walked over, Cooper didn't recognize him at first.
"Blaine?" The woman said Cooper just stared at while Blaine nodded his head.
"You don't remember me, I'm aunt Lexis, your mom's sister." she said stepping closer to Blaine but she didn’t try to hug him.
"Oh," Blaine said softly. "I um... I, " he stammered. He and cooper stared a bit longer the silence was deafening.
"What happened to you?" Cooper finally spoke.
"Everything." Blaine said tears welting in his eyes. Cooper pushed off his car and took a stride to Blaine before engulfing him in a tight hug.
"I'm so sorry." He said crying, "I should have never left."
