and immediatly he knew he was making progress.

"Hello Blaine, I'm Dr. Smythe, but you can call me Parker!" he said happily, the boy looked up from his pants and met his eyes. Dr. Smythe shivered and looked back; Blaine's face was absolutely gorgeous and if it had not been for his husband, medicial degree, and self control, he would have been all over him in a matter of seconds; Psychotic or not. Blaine shook his head slowly and began to hum the melody to "itsy bitsy spider" once again, staring at the ceiling and then the floor, smacking his arms a few times with a terrified expression on his face.
"Are you alright?" he nodded, itching the back of his neck slightly and never breaking eye contact with the doctor. Parker walked out of the room for a moment, shutting the door behind him and walking to the medicine room where he picked through the names of patients before finally passing "Anderson" and flipping back. He grabbed the daily dosage out of the container, filled up a paper cup full of water and walked back to room 19, where Blaine was currently sitting lost in the voices in his head.
he ran his hands through his hair
Spiders running every where, the voices sound
Their way to loud; they need to turn it down
the doctors tell him to calm...
They strap down his feet, see someone
they should hate to meet and stab him painfully in the arm.
With his worst enemy.
it was his daily routine; Sleep, Eat and Medicate
The voices get louder......
your nothing
Worthless
a piece of crap
weak
Unlovable
INSANE
He cries as the doctor arrives, and begs him.....
....pleads him... to save him from himself.
Parker walked as fast as he could without spilling the water on the way back to Blaine's room. He stopped at the door and looked in, Blaine was thrashing about, hitting security, and was now being pinned down to the bed, having his legs and arms strapped down onto the bed.
"What happened!?" Dr. Smythe asked, putting the cup and two pills on the wooden desk before helping the paniced boy out. Parker hushed the boy, rubbing a comforting hand through the boys, messy, curly brown hair and feeling his temperature rise almost immediatly. The guards said something and Parker nodded, still keeping a shakey hand on a warm, sweat plastered forehead. Blaine pulled at the straps on his hands and screamed loud enough for the entire hospital to hear him. Parker felt his head again, getting nervous.
"Sedate him... he's not coming down anytime soon..." He commanded. The security guard moved slowly towards the patient and slid the needle gently into his arm before putting pressure on the needle and releasing the liquid into Blaine's body. Immediately Blaine reacted, body relaxing and breathing falling steady as the room fell silent.
Parker sat back in the chair and rubbed a shakey hand through his short blonde hair and sighed.
"Are you alright Doctor?" Wesley asked, patting Dr. Parker on the shoulder before moving to walk out of the room.
"Fine...I've never seen someone so young, have an episode that bad before...." Wesley nodded.
"How long will he be out?"
"2 hours at the max, we aren't allowed to give more than that" He smiled.
"Alright, thank you guys.... all of you..." The boys nodded and walked out of the room, closing the door behind them. Parker leaned over and pressed his hand gently on Blaine's forehead; temperature was normal. He sighed in relief and got up to stretch, since Blaine was going to be out for the next two hours he decided he would do something to take his mind off of what had just happened.
Parker walked slowly down the halls of Westerville Psychiatric Hospital, greeting doctor's he knew, smiling at one's he didn't and just looking for an excuse to waste time until his patient; Blaine Anderson woke up. Blaine Anderson was a twenty-one year old patient, being treated for schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder and other mental illnesses. On the outside he looked normal but on the inside he was being tortured by the unwelcomed roommate - Schizophrenia. Blaine was a very gorgeous man; his face was beautifully structured, hair a messy set of curls that were a deep brown, and hazel eyes that could make anyone fall in love with him. His build wasn't small however, his height was. Blaine stood about 5'7 and was sculpted fantastically.
"Dr. Smythe..." A female doctor greeted, nodding her head and she walked along. Parker looked weerily into the staff room and walked passed it and down another hall he hadn't been through. He heard screams of pain, pointless murmurs, and even some death threats from rooms on either side of him. The air smelled of sick and Parker felt sick. He walked quickly back up the hallway and down to the main floor.
"Parker! Can I talk to you for a moment?" Brenard asked as the doctor walked passed his office door. Parker walked backwards and poked his head into the door, smiling at the older man.
"Sure, what's up?" He sat down in the chair, putting his hands in his lap and sitting up straight.
"Blaine had another episode...how are you with seeing the first one?" he asked, sincerity in his voice as it cracked. Parker cocked an eyebrow and looked curiously at his father-in-law. He adjusted his postion and sat with one leg crossed over the other.
"It was terrifying! the poor boy was shaking and sweating and panicing...I feel bad for him..."
"We all do Parker, Blaine's one of our most severe cases, he freaks out over little things, barely talks to us and when he does he babbles on about complete and utter nonsense... we're getting nothing from him...."
"He's been here all of his life, and you mean to tell me now that you've got almost nothing on the kid?" Brenard looked away, wiping tears away from his eyes.
"He's my son Parker.....He's my son....." Parker went numb; Brenard's son meaning Sebastian's little brother? He gasped and started crying; Parker had heard about Blaine before, all the touching stories that Sebastian had told him of his little brother with whom he adored. He would have to talk to him about it when he went home.
"Blaine's your son?" Brenard nodded "So I'm treating family?"
"Yes... it's why I gave you the case... I don't have the heart or guts to see my son suffer as much as he does and I knew you would be able to stand it to a point...." He paused "Your a great guy Parker and I am so glad to have you as a son-in-law."
"well, I'm glad that you've accepted me as your son-in-law, and that you would trust me with someone as special as Blaine is to you all" He smiled; the stories about him were endless, however, the boy he say in the room wasn't their baby Blaine anymore, he was a grown man and more timid and scared now that he was grown.
"Dr. Parker, to room 19...Dr Parker Smythe to room 19 please!" The female voice sounded over the loud speaker. Both Brenard and Parker looked up at the small box on the wall, then looked back at each other. Parker's mind raced as he thought of what could be wrong; Had Blaine had another fit?
"you better get going son...." Parker nodded and got up, walking briskly out of the office and down the hall. He stopped at the door and swiped his clock card across the screen before walking in. Blaine looked up immediately, eyes softer and less distant than they were before; he had obviously taken his medicine.
"hello again Blaine... how are you feeling?" Blaine smiled slightly and pointed at the notepad in the doctor's hands. Parker handed him the notepad, and Blaine took it with ease and sribbled hyperly onto the paper before handing it back to the doctor.
Fine - Parker sat down on the chair and moved it closer to the bed.
"So Blaine, I'm going to ask you some questions and if you don't want to talk you can just write it down alright?" He nodded.
" So how old are you Blaine?" Twenty-one....
" When did you come to this hospital?" At four....
" Where were you born?" Westerville, Ohio....
" What are you life goals?" Get married to a boy that could accept me and my mental illness, I would also to like to experience normal for a change....
" How do you feel about your life?" When I'm not hearing or seeing things I love life....sometimes I can go a week without hearing them.
" When does that happen?" When I write.... or talk about my problems, but I haven't heard my own voice in 5 years....
"If you were able to leave here for one day what would you do?" Instead of writing words Blaine started drawing a picture. A picture of two stick figures; one taller and one shorter, linking arms and running about a large field. Parker smiled and made a noise that somewhat resembled an "aw" and a "ohmygod". Blaine smiled slightly, eye glinting with emotion over the picture. Despite what he would have told anyone he missed his brother's visits.... no one ever visited him anymore....
"What is your brother's name?" Sebastian Michael Smythe-Anderson.....Your eyes are beautiful Parker..... Parker's breathe hitched a bit, but seeing those words 'Sebastian Michael Smythe-Anderson written down made it all the more real. He smiled brightly and watched the younger man's eyes turn sad as he looked curiously at the watch on Parker's arm. Parker looked and also grew sad; it was 3:00, meaning their session was over for the day and he wouldn't have to go back unless there was an emergency or smaller problem that was caused and he needed to attend to it. He got up and looked at Blaine who smiled and laid in bed, staring at the ceiling and humming a song that Parker couldn't pick out. He looked back one last time before opening the door and walking out. He was ready to go home; it had been a long day.
