“Oh God,” Blaine whispered, “Oh my god there he is.” Blaine pointed with a shaky finger, stopping in his tracks and clutching at Kurt’s arm.

“Blaine, calm down. You’re wrinkling my shirt,” Kurt huffed, removing Blaine’s hand and intertwining their fingers. “Let’s go say hi.”

“Say hi,” Blaine asked incredulously. “You want me to just walk up to… to him? And say hi?” Kurt rolled his eyes, tugging at Blaine’s hand and dragging him forward, weaving expertly between the other park-goers.

“Kurt, hold on. Kurt, stop!” Blaine yanked his hand out of Kurt’s grasp, stopping in the middle of the sidewalk and rocking back and forth lightly. “I’m nervous,” he admitted quietly. “I mean… he’s kind of my idol.”

“Oh, sweetheart.” Kurt rubbed small circles over Blaine’s back, looking around warily before pulling him into a hug. “He’ll be delighted to meet you.”

          “I know… I’m being ridiculous.”

“I think you’re being cute,” Kurt said, pulling reluctantly out of the hug and giving Blaine a reassuring smile. “Now let’s go meet your idol.” They moved quickly through the crowd, sidestepping a family with a pair of toddlers on leashes before stopping in front of the man himself.

“Excuse me,” Blaine said, coughing lightly to catch the man’s attention. “Mr. Mouse?” Mickey turned around, his giant foam shoes squeaking slightly. A huge smile was plastered onto his face (or was it considered a mask, Kurt wondered).

“Mr. Mouse, I am… I am a huge fan of your work,” Blaine said, reaching his hand out for Mickey to shake. The mouse threw his hands in the air, pulling Blaine into a hug instead. Kurt laughed, watching as Blaine stumbled into the character’s arms, grinning from ear to ear.

“Th-thank you,” Blaine stuttered. “This means a lot. You’re an inspiration, truly.” Mickey lifted one hand to his chest then, beating it against his heart as the other hand covered his eyes, faking embarrassment. Kurt shook his head, watching from the side while quickly snapping pictures on his phone.

Mickey glanced over at Kurt then, gesturing back and forth between himself and Blaine before lifting his hands and mimicking taking a photo. ”Oh,” Kurt said, realizing what Mickey was suggesting as Blaine continued staring, lost in childhood memories. “Blaine, scoot in. Let me take a picture of you guys.”

Blaine moved over, comically short next to the giant character. He threw an arm around Mickey’s waist, the other hand lifting to do a thumbs up as Kurt snapped the photo.

Blaine waved happily as Mickey walked away, distracted by a group of screaming toddlers. ”That. Was. Awesome,” he said, grabbing Kurt’s hand and squeezing it tightly. “Thank you.”

“No problem, I’m texting you the picture now.”

“No, not for the picture, Kurt. For being you, for not laughing at me…. It means a lot.” Blaine smiled, leaning in to press a kiss to Kurt’s cheek.

“Well, you mean a lot. Besides, you’d do the same for me.” Kurt could feel the blush spreading through his cheeks as Blaine continued to look at him with his adorably sweet smile.

“Oh please, what could make you lose your cool like that?” Blaine asked, raising his eyebrows as Kurt looked away nervously. Blaine followed his gaze towards the castle in the distance, realization hitting him. “The princesses! You would totally freak out over meeting the princesses!”

“No I wouldn’t!” Kurt tried his best to sound convincing. “I wouldn’t! It’s just that I…” Kurt trailed off, his eyes growing wide as saucers as he stared over Blaine’s shoulders.

“Kurt, what’s wrong?” Blaine asked, quickly dropping their hands and spinning around just in time for Kurt to push him aside roughly, running quickly towards a woman in a yellow dress.

“BELLE! BELLE CAN I GET A PICTURE?” Kurt shouted, practically shoving people out of the way.

“Beauty and the Beast… I should have known,” Blaine said fondly, pulling his camera out of his pocket and setting off after his screaming boyfriend.
