Author's Notes: This one sort of takes an unexpected turn...just sort of happened. Nevertheless, enjoy!

Today was the day. He couldn't put it off any longer. Blaine had to sing his song to Kurt for the glee club today and there was no stopping it. As he sat in the red, plastic chair in the choir room he could feel himself starting to sweat and his palms become clammy with knowing what he was about to do. He could feel Kurt sitting next to him, could almost hear every breath he took as Santana sung Nag by Joan Jett and the Black Hearts while staring directly at Rachel.

As she finished her song the room erupted into cheers while Rachel plastered a scowl under her brunette bangs.

“Santana, as much as you think you were wonderful singing that song, it wasn't appropriate to the assignment. The lesson was ballads, that was not a ballad.” Rachel said crossing her arms.

Santana guffawed, “Oh please! A ballad tells a story, and if anything that song tells a wonderful story about you being a know-it-all, nagging, bitch.”

Mr. Shue cut in to move the solos along, “Okay! Thank you for that, Santana! How about we move on here! Who wants to go next?”

Blaine steadily raised his hand up, “I-I would like to go, Mr. Shue.”

“Alright, Blaine! And your partner is...?”

“Kurt. My partner is Kurt. And before I begin I just want you all to listen, especially you, Kurt.” Blaine gave a faint hearted smile as the musicians began the first few chords.

Hello, tell me you know, yeah, you've figured me out

Something gave it away

And it would be such a beautiful moment to see the look on your face

To know that I know that you know now

And baby that's a case of my wishful thinking

You know nothing

'Cause you and I, why we go carrying on for hours on end

We get along much better than you and your boyfriend

Well, all I really want to do is love you

A kind much closer than friends use

But I still can't say it after all we've been through
And all I really want from you is to feel me

As the feeling inside keeps building

And I will find a way to you if it kills me, if it kills me

Well, how long can I go on like this, wishing to kiss you

Before I rightly explode

And this double life I lead isn't healthy for me, in fact it makes me nervous

If I get caught I could be risking it all

Well, baby there's a lot that I miss in case I'm wrong

All I really want to do is love you

A kind much closer than friends use

But I still can't say it after all we've been through
And all I really want from you is to feel me

As the feeling inside keeps building

And I will find a way to you if it kills me, if it kills me

If I should be so bold, I'd ask you to hold my heart in your hand

Tell you from the start how I've longed to be your man

But I never said a word I guess I'm gonna miss my chance again

Well, all I really want to do is love you

A kind much closer than friends use

But I still can't say it after all we've been through
And all I really want from you is to feel me

As the feeling inside keeps building

And I will find a way to you if it kills me, if it kills me, if it kills me

I think it might kill me

And all I really want from you is to feel me

It's a feeling inside that keeps building

And I will find a way to you if it kills me, if it kills me

It might kill me

The song ended and Blaine was on the edge of tears while he stared into Kurt's bright blue eyes. The entire room was silent from his performance and no one entirely knew how to respond. The room started to slowly clap as Santana said, “Wait a minute. The miniature puppy Gay is in love with the pretty boy Gay? Oh God, this couldn't be better.”

Even though everyone started to talk around them, Blaine and Kurt just stared at each other until Blaine finally couldn't take the silence any more and walked out of the room.

Kurt couldn't believe it. He was right. Blaine was in love with him and Kurt was falling for him fast. He loved the way the he just put it all out there with no regards to how Kurt would respond or even if he felt the same way. Which he did. Blaine didn't care if he didn't love him back or not, but he just wanted him to know. That alone made his soul burn with beauty.

And just as Kurt was about to say something he ran out. Kurt got up to search the halls for him when he heard a familiar booming voice coming from around the corner.

“Hey, fairy! Why you crying? Gay got your tongue?” No one was laughing. Blaine was alone with Karofsky in an empty hall.

“Please don't do this. I'll do anything.” He heard a soft voice say.

“Oh, will you Anderson? Well then this just might be your lucky day. Because I'm looking for a...job to be done. And I think you of all people will be able to fill the position.”

“Wha- what do you mean?”

“I think you of all people know what I mean.” This couldn't be happening.

Blaine realized what he meant and Kurt heard him start to plea, “No! No, please no! You can't make me do that.” He heard him start to sob.

“Oh, I can't? Because last time I checked you were the one being pushed against a locker with my fist.” With that Kurt heard the door to the bathroom open and a scared Blaine crying into David's palm.

Kurt was paralyzed with fear. Tears started forming in his eyes as he pictured what Karofsky was making him do at this very minute. He should run in there and stop this but his legs were glued to the ground. He just couldn't stand seeing the sight of Blaine in that position. Especially since it was Kurt he ran out on. It was him that made Blaine roam the halls and run into Karofsky. It was Kurt's fault.

After realizing this Kurt's conscience grabbed him by the collar and pulled him towards the bathroom. Once he reached the door he could hear the sound of David moaning. Kurt was sick to his stomach. He gathered every ounce of courage he had and pushed the door open.

David's head spun towards the door and released Blaine from his grasp. Blaine quickly got off of the floor and ran to hug Kurt while they were both in tears. Once Blaine let go Kurt turned to yell at Karofsky.

“What in the hell is wrong with you!”

“Gay boy here just couldn't get enough of my dick! Said he wanted to, so I let him.”

“You're a disgusting pig, you know that? Rot in hell, Karofsky!”

Just as Karofsky was about to say something in return, Kurt slammed the door.
