Blaine shot awake when his alarm clock buzzed, groaning when the sunlight from his window hit his eyes, blinding him for a second. He pressed the button on the top of his alarm clock to shut it off and slumped back into bed, wishing he had a few more hours to sleep, but it was time for school.

He dragged himself off his bed and walked on over to his own bathroom to shower.

After throwing on his clothes, he grabbed his phone & realized he had a text from Quinn, that he received 10 minutes ago. 'Hey babe. What time are you picking me up?' He hated when Quinn assumed he would do things, but he did them because he felt guilty. Guilty at the fact that he used Quinn to cover up his sexuality. Guilty that he used Quinn, because he felt ashamed of himself.

He sent a quick reply to Quinn before descending down the stairs. When he got to the kitchen, he noticed that there was a note left on the kitchen counter. It was from his mom. 

'Your dad and I had to leave for work early.
See you at dinner.'

This was normal for Blaine. His parents were hardly around. He usually only got to spend more than 5 hours with them on weekends, but even then they would be on their Blackberrys half the time. Blaine sighed and went on to make a simple breakfast for himself.

Upon pulling up in front of Quinn's house, he took out his phone and sent a text to her, telling her he was outside. He heard Quinn's front door open and closed again. Quinn got around to the passenger side but didn't open the door. Instead, she stood out there & crossed her arms. Blaine sighed & got out of his car, walked over to the passenger side and opened the door for her. She smiled and pecked him of the cheek before sliding into the seat. 

Why do I even put up with this, thought Blaine.

When they arrived at school, Blaine again had to open Quinn's door for her. They walked into the school hand-in-hand and parted when Quinn said she had somewhere to be. He walked over to his locker & started to pull out books for first period; AP Chemistry

Once he arrived to the classroom, there were only a few students, all sitted in small groups chatting away. He scanned the room and his gaze fell onto the boy seated alone at the front, dressed in a white ruffled shirt and a baby blue sweater, that matched his eyes.
