"Zella."
"That's right sweet cheeks. Glad you remember me."
"B..But I..I K-"
"K-Killed me? No darling, you really think I'd let you kill me with my own knife?" Zella snickered. "No. No. No."
"How'd you find me?"
"Oh dear, it wasn't that hard. I know your type."
"Type?"
"You know, the type to be stupid enough to go to a huge city and live on the top floor of a hotel building. Anyway, enough about you. Let's talk about this beauty I'm possessing. He sure is a fighter and oh baby I can tell he's a screamer. I'll remember that when I tare the skin off his bones."
Kurt pushed Zella off of him, he ran quickly to the bedroom. However Kurt wasn't fast enough, Zella came from behind him taking him into a headlock. Kurt cried out in pain struggling to get free. "Blaine. Blaine please help me." Kurt gasped trying to breathe, "Blaine come back to me."
Zella's laughter rang out through the hotel building, she gripped him tighter and whispered into his ear. "Kurt don't be an idiot. They call it a possession for a reason. Blaine is never coming back to you." Kurt started to cry, his lungs were losing air every moment he tried to speak. "I can hear him. He is begging me to snap your pathetic neck. Blaine wants me to get rid of you because he could never do it himself."
Kurt passed out soon after those words. He didn't dream much, and when he did it was always a nightmare. This time was different, Kurt dreamt about Blaine. Them holding hands in central park with the sun shining down. It didn't last long. That dream was torn apart and laughter spread into his head. Zella's laughter.
Was Kurt dead? What about Blaine? Where would Kurt go? What was supposed to happen? Would she let Blaine go? She had no use for him if Kurt wasn't there. Unless she was serious about torturing him. Was she?
Kurt woke up to see the ceiling. The paint was chipped. Of course Kurt would notice. He looked around to see Blaine on the floor.
Kurt sprang to his feet, he pounced next to Blaine, and the pain he hadn't felt before came rushing to him. He ignored it and turned over Blaine. "Holy shit." Kurt whispered. Blaine's face was cut all over, one cut on his eyebrow was deep. So deep it would probably leave a scare. Kurt grabbed the aid equipment from the kitchen and started cleaning Blaine up. Kurt stitched up his deep cuts.
Blaine eventually opened his eyes, Kurt could see the pain flash in his eyes. Blaine's face was bad but his stomach had a huge cut. Kurt tried hard to stitch it up but he didn't know how long Blaine would have before the cut would affect him enough to kill him. Kurt's heart sank when he thought about losing Blaine. He was the only one Kurt had for the past few months.
Kurt had come to the conclusion that Zella had thought he was dead. Which made her move along to Blaine, but Blaine had taken control -which was very close to impossible- and taken the knife straight to his stomach.
Blaine coughed looking down, blood started trickling down his chin. Kurt burst into tears, he didn't know he was that close to crying until he had done it. Blaine looked up at Kurt his eyes started going dark and Kurt knew he didn't have long.
"Kurt, me and you are going to make it. We'll make it together." Blaine's hand came close to Kurt's face, Kurt closed his eyes when it brushed across his cheek. "Together." Blaine whispered.
Kurt still had his eyes closed. He couldn't bear to open them. Blaine wasn't touching him anymore and Kurt knew that he was gone. His soul mate was gone. The only one he lived for. The hope Kurt had, had been in Blaine. And it was gone.
Kurt's cries filled the room, the sobs coming out of his mouth were strained. He opened his eyes, Blaine laid still and cold in his arms. His eyes were staring at the wall, he was completely empty.
Kurt kissed Blaine's head and put him down gently. He ran to the door and grabbed his coat. He ran all the way down the stairs, when he got to the bottom he fell onto the floor but he picked himself up and ran to the glass doors. Kurt unchained them taking his gun out just in case of a run in with any infected. Kurt got to a small car and broke the window after a few seconds of trying to open the door. He didn't have time for anything that took up the time he needed.
Kurt had driven for about four hundred miles when he stopped.
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit lonely and you're never coming round
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit tired of listening to the sound of my tears
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit nervous
That the best of all the years have gone by
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit terrified
And then I see the look in your eyes
Turnaround bright eyes, every now and then I fall apart
Turnaround bright eyes, every now and then I fall apart
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit restless and I dream of something wild
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit helpless and I'm lying like a child in your arms
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit angry and I know I've got to get out and cry
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit terrified
But then I see the look in your eyes
Turnaround bright eyes, every now and then I fall apart
Turnaround bright eyes, every now and then I fall apart
And I need you now tonight
And I need you more than ever
And if you only hold me tight
We'll be holding on forever
And we'll only be making it right
'Cause we'll never be wrong together
We can take it to the end of the line
Your love is like a shadow on me all of the time
I don't know what to do and I'm always in the dark
We're living in a powder keg and giving off sparks
I really need you tonight
Forever's gonna start tonight
Forever's gonna start tonight
Once upon a time I was falling in love
But now I'm only falling apart
There's nothing I can do
A total eclipse of the heart
Once upon a time there was light in my life
But now there's only love in the dark
Nothing I can say
A total eclipse of the heart
Kurt cried his heart torn apart. Kurt could barely see the road as he walked but he managed to get to his place.
The sign above his head read. "Lima bean"
Kurt never wanted to come here. Lima, Ohio brought back to many bad memories. He had to get Blaine back though. He walked into the -once a coffee shop and the best one in town- building. Kurt felt the warm air hit him hard. And yes, Kurt was stupid enough to come to a demons headquarters. He was desperate and needed to make a deal.
"Hey! It's the fucking prick who killed Zella!" Someone yelled out.
Kurt's heart lurched forward as demons ran toward him.
"Stop!"
Kurt looked up to see a twelve year old girl sitting in a chair at the back of the place. She had blonde hair and freckles. Of course a demon would pick her as a victim. She was a kid, she could get into anyone's house or life. Everyone trust a little innocent girl.
"Kurt Hummel, I assume?" Kurt nodded, the demons were standing around him but none were blocking the eye view to the little girl. "Ah, I see. I've been expecting you. Come over here and sit." Kurt walked hesitantly over to the girl, he slid in the tiny booth not taking his eyes off of her. "I bet you don't even know who I am, do ya?" Kurt shook his head no. The girl grinned and stuck her hand out, "Hello Kurt Hummel. I'd like to introduce myself. My names Lucifer."
Kurt was taken back by this, the devil was here!
"Kurt don't be rude now." She moved her hand slightly. Kurt reached out slowly taking it. Lucifer shook it firmly. "Alight now let us get to business. Tell me why."
Kurt looked confused and still nervous. "Excuse me but why what?"
The girl leaned across the table, her hands placed in front of Kurt. "Kurt Hummel, you are going to go down in history you know that? Well you were supposed to. Kurt you were supposed to be on Broadway and be a big star. Betcha didn't know that did ya?" She shrugged. "However, someone had to go and screw it all up for us."
Kurt sat quietly listening.
The girl huffed and rolled her eyes, "You don't even know who did it do you? It was your little friend Blaine."
Kurt furrowed his brows at this comment. "No! He couldn't have!"
"Oh but yes he did! Of course he didn't have any control over any of this. Blaine was born to start the apocalypse. Just as you my dear boy were meant to end it. Oh I know what you're thinking! 'I thought I was supposed to be a big star!' Well I can't give you all the answers can I?"
"I d-don't understand."
"Kurt Hummel, you and me are going to make a deal. That's why you came here correct?"
Kurt nodded.
"Well, here's what's going to happen. I will give you, your life back and all of the people you had before. The world will be just as it was!"
"What about Blaine?"
"No he's not part of the deal. I'll give you ever thing as it was from the day this all started."
"What's going to happen to him?"
"He will go back to his usual life."
"He'll never know me?"
"No he won't."
"Why are you doing this? What do you want out of this?"
"Your first born." She paused watching Kurt about to burst. "No, I'm kidding. Dang take a joke. I want this world to be back to normal because you're meant to have a son and I need him to be born."
"W-What? Why?"
"Kurt I can't tell you everything. When we make the deal you will only remember all of this for about three minutes then your memory will kick in from that day."
"Why do you want my son? And I'm going to have a son?"
She smirked and tilted her head, "Babe you're not the only one out of your family to take back the apocalypse. Kurt I want to get out for a while, that's why all of this happens but after a while if there's no point with no people. Plus I enjoy your food. Take it or leave it."
Kurt closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Take it."
Kurt's hand was grasped, his eyes jerked open to see time fly backwards and the world fix its self. The trees grew back and rain poured. Kurt passed out.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck Kurt wake up dude!" Someone pleaded at him.
Dude? Did Blaine just call him dude? Wait...That wasn't Blaine's voice! He knew that voice though. Kurt opened his eyes slowly, taking a look at the boy in front of him.
"Kurt! You okay dude? I'm really sorry you said you could take it."
Kurt tried talking but he couldn't. His voice was gone. Kurt coughed loudly, water pouring out of his lungs. "Finn?"
