As the weekend approached, Kurt and Blaine settled into trying to get back to normal. Kurt still had regular nightmares and he was still very self conscious about his appearance, despite Blaine telling him that he had nothing to worry about.

There was a knock at the door “Ill get it” said Blaine as he walked towards the door “Hi Mark” he said to his manager.

“Hi Blaine. I just called to see how everything is”

“I dont know if this is a good time. I dont know if Kurt is up for visitors” said Blaine

“Blaine, its fine. Let Mark in” said Kurt. He beckoned for Mark to come in and sit down.

“Hi Kurt. I heard what happened. I am so sorry. I know this must seem so inappropriate and I hate to say this. But I need to talk to Blaine about work”.

“Mark as I told you on the phone, I dont know when I can return” he looked over at Kurt who was sitting quietly in the corner.

“We have tried to be as understanding as possible. We know that you are both going through a really hard time. I hate to be on your back, but theres the press conference tomorrow. Blaine its really important that you go. Its to promote your new album”

“Blaine I think you should go. You have been so good to me the past few weeks. You cant miss your own press conference” said Kurt.

“Thats not the only thing. Kurt I hate to put this pressure on you. But we are encouraging you to attend as well.” Blaine was about to interrupt but Mark continued “The fans know and love you Kurt. They associate you two together. The fans dont know what has happened to you and they would ask questions about your absence”

“Ill go” said Kurt “I need to do this”

Blaine couldnt believe Kurt agreed to this. He smiled proudly at his boyfriend.
