After a few weeks had passed, Blaine's thoughts still mostly consisted of Kurt and the events of the night of his engagement celebration. He did a surprisingly good job at keeping these thoughts to himself, but his actions hadn't gone unnoticed by Sebastian.
"You've been acting different lately, Blaine," he'd randomly accused one day. "Maybe by the time I get back from my trip, you'll get yourself sorted out." And before Blaine could even open his mouth, he was gone. Without a hug, or a kiss, or even a goodbye.
Blaine stared after his fiance, his mouth hanging slightly open as he tried to register what had just happened. Sebastian was long gone when Blaine finally snapped out of his daze. Clearly, thinking he could keep thoughts or any remembrance about that night was not working out for him. Especially since Sebastian still didn't know where he'd been. "Damnit, Adonis," he mumbled to himself, smacking the palm of his hand against his forehead.

Over the next week, without even realizing it, Blaine had driven past the Cockpit several times. It was Thursday when he'd somehow found himself pulling into the parking lot of the club and wandering inside. He absently sat down at a table in the back, his head only shooting up when the music started to play.
He was disappointed though, when the boy who he was so desperately hoping to see did not step out onstage. In fact, he was disappointed the whole night when he didn't show up. He wanted to leave when the first half of the show was over, but what if he did show up, deciding to do his performance last?
But he didn't. Kurt was nowhere to be found. And Blaine forced himself to sit through hours of several Oompa Loompa-resembling men in multi-coloured thongs, dancing to songs Blaine could never listen to again without cringing.
He pulled on his jacket and started heading for the exit, stopping when somebody grabbed his arm. He turned around, hoping to come face to face with Kurt, but frowned when it wasn't him. Instead, he'd come face to face with Max. The owner gave him a knowing smile, saying only three simple words before walking away. "He works tomorrow."
Blaine's whole attitude seemed to change, and he rushed out of the club and back to his car, eager to get home and to bed so he could get back to the club faster the next evening.

Kurt showed up to work everyday, in hopes to see Blaine so that they could talk. But he was only met with disappointment when he didn't show up at all. Max had given him a few days off, and he took them gratefully, needing to desperately clear his head. He was supposed to work Thursday, but instead he spent the night with Rachel at the bar, ridding any thoughts he had of Blaine.
Around 7pm, Kurt gathered his things, tossing them into his satchel before exiting the apartment and making his way to the club. Since he had so many days off, he wanted to get there early to perfect his performance of the night.
"Perfect" wasn't the proper word to really describe how his performance went. Disastrous, though, would definitely be the correct word choice. Everything was going fine until he'd spotted a familiar curly-haired boy sitting in the second row, on the side of the stage where Kurt spent most of his time dancing around.
From there, it was just hell. He stumbled over his feet and slipped off of the pole, falling flat on his ass. And that's when he made Max stop the music and he ran to the back.
When Kurt decided it was safe to come back out, the club was closing for the night. He hadn't made any money, but that was the least of his thoughts. Everything was focused on Blaine.
He was about to head out when he noticed the boy leaning up against the bar. Blaine smiled when he brought his head up and saw Kurt, and Kurt thought he was going to explode. He waited for me! his insides squealed, but he managed to stay calm on the outside.
"Hello," he greeted, though his voice was barely above a whisper when he made his way over to the boy, his satchel slung lazily over his shoulder.
"Hey," Blaine greeted back. And then it was silent, and awkward. Very awkward.
"I — um — er" Kurt fumbled over his words after a few moments of silence, and he mentally smacked himself for acting like such an idiot around a guy he knew nothing about, apart from his name.
"Do you want to go get coffee tomorrow?" Blaine suggested, when he realized Kurt was getting absolutely nowhere with his word fumbling.
Kurt only nodded, not daring to speak, not really knowing what would come out of his mouth if he did. Blaine shifted around awkwardly on his feet, scratching the back of his head. "Um... let me see your phone, I'll put my number in."
Kurt reached into his bag, pulling out his phone and handing it over to Blaine. He punched in his number and returned it to its owner. "Uh... I should go," Kurt announced, sliding his phone back into the bag. Blaine nodded and followed the boy out into the parking lot, ready to head for his car as Kurt did the same for a taxi. "Well... bye," they both said in a rush, unsure of how to end this awkward meeting.
They parted ways with one last took at each other, both of them blushing upon seeing the other staring.

Kurt had just made it home and was doing his nightly skin regime when he decided to send a text to Blaine. Opening up the contact name, he quickly scrawled out a short message and hit send.
Blaine hadn't yet made it home when his phone started to buzz, indicating a new text message. He opened it up at a red light and started smiling like an idiot as he read over the message until the light turned green.
Tomorrow at Lyla's, 10am

I love how flustered Kurt when he realized Blaine was in the audience. I really looking forward to their coffee date. Since your looking for more reviews. Why don't you think about putting a notice on the Kurt and Blaine livejournal when you update? Or you could try tumblr.
