"No, Wes," Blaine said sternly, crossing his arms over his chest for the added effect. It wasn't really getting anyone anywhere, and the Asian boy standing in front of Blaine only rolled his eyes at the shorter boy's protest.
That's who Blaine was; he was stubborn, but Wes knew that he'd come around in the end, he always did, even if it took a bit of convincing. Because Blaine was curious.
"Oh, come on, Blaine. It'll be fun, and you need to do something crazy before getting married."
But Blaine stood his ground, scoffing unconvinced. "There is no way that I'm letting you and David drag me to a strip club," he replied, voice stern again.
He didn't really see the point in him going to a strip club. What there would really benefit him? He was engaged, and anything at a stip club could be reenacted in the bedroom. Not easily, since neither of the two were all that flexible... but still.
Blaine zoned out, his mind wandering off to thoughts of his fiance, Sebastian. He was a tall boy with brown hair and an almost always smirk-y face. His friends hated him, but Blaine couldn't understand why. Sure, he could be pushy and quite demanding at times, but he really could be sweet.
The two had first met at Dalton, their old high school. From the time they'd met, Blaine had been following Sebastian around like a lost puppy (or so his fellow Warblers claimed, but really, Blaine thought they were over-exaggerating.)
Blaine continued thinking of how amazing he thought Sebastian was; from the way his green eyes would sparkle, to his voice and how he made Blaine feel when they were together. And he really couldn't think of a more perfect person to be getting married to.
He was snapped out of his thoughts by a hand colliding with the back of his head. His instant reaction to to grab for it and rub it, glaring up at Wes, who was laughing at him.
"So, be ready by 10pm. I'll be here to pick you up." And before Blaine had the chance to reply, Wes had already left him alone. He covered his face with his hands, groaning, "why me?" as he stalked off to (unwillingly) get ready.
Kurt sighed as he pulled himself into his normal clothes over his "work" clothes. He didn't necessarily enjoy his job, but he did like performing and besides, it paid extremely well, and if it got his bills paid off and meant he could afford to buy clothes from Marc Jacobs and Alexander McQueen, so be it.
Kurt wasn't like the normal strippers... or exotic dancers, as he preferred to call them. He was one of the taller dancers at the club, and he chose to stay his natural porcelain colour instead of the oily and orange the others opted for. He was also the most flexible out of all of them; his love of dancing and performing really helped with that, and almost everyone seemed to fall in love with him.
He strapped his messenger bag over his shoulder and grabbed his keys, heading out of his apartment. It was around 8 o'clock when he stepped outside, and he took a deep breath of fresh air, the very little wind there was leaving his perfectly coiffed hair untouched.
Humming quietly to himself, he walked a few blocks before deciding to take a cab. He quickly called for one and gave the directions towards the club, recieving an odd look from the driver in response. He shrugged it off, though. He'd been doing this for 5 months, and he'd gotten used to it all... apart from the disgusting pigs who ended up drunk and tried to get Kurt to go home with them.
Once he arrived, he paid the driver and made his way inside the building and immediately towards the back. As he waited for the club to open, he chatted briefly with a few of his fellow dancers and went over his song in his head, though there was no actual point since he knew it by heart anyway.
Time ticked away quickly, and the bouncer was starting to let people inside. Kurt closed his eyes and took a deep breath, and when he opened them, he was no longer Kurt. Now, now he was "Adonis", the stage name he'd been given. He took a deep breath, and when the music started playing, he stepped out onto the stage.
