“What's wrong?” Blaine asked.

“you know uhm.” Cooper started serious but then he couldn't help laughing, out of pure joy. “Cooper, what is it?” Blaine asked.

“The police caught him. He won't get out anymore because he had done so much. I told them.”

Blaine squealed. “Kurt” he yelled, as Kurt entered the room Blaine grabbed him and kissed him.

“It's over, it's over, it's over. They caught Dad.” Blaine yelled, jumping up and down.

“Ahem, excuse me, Blaine? I'm gonna visit you two as soon as I can. Or I can take you home.”

“No,” Blaine said. “We'll stay here.” Kurt nodded in agreement.

“Why?” Cooper asked.

“Our friends are here. And this place is beautiful.” Blaine said. Kurt turned to Susi “As long as you don't mind of course.”

“Oh, honey, of course I don't mind.”. The boys grinned at her.

“I think I can bring Kurt's mom too.” Cooper said.

“yes, that'd be great, maybe then they can sort out the fight they had.” Blaine answered.

“Okay, Blainers I gotta go pack and stuff.”

“ok, bye Coop.”

As soon as Cooper hung up Blaine took Kurt in his arms and danced around the room with him.

He only stopped to kiss him, in the middle of the room, with 3 people staring at them but Blaine couldn't help it, he was too happy.

Two days later Blaine had his first gig at Susi's coffee shop. Kurt sat down on the chair infront of the small stage with Nick and Jeff.

“This is a song, I wrote a few weeks ago in summer camp. It's for my boyfriend, so Kurt this is for you.” Blaine said. The audience clapped and Kurt blushed.

I've been alone
Surrounded by darkness
I've seen how heartless
The world can be

I've seen you crying
You felt like it's hopeless
I'll always do my best
To make you see

Baby, you're not alone
'Cause you're here with me
And nothing's ever gonna bring us down
'Cause nothing can keep me from lovin' you
And you know it's true
It don't matter what'll come to be
Our love is all we need to make it through...

Now I know it ain't easy
But it ain't hard trying
Everytime I see you smiling
And I feel you so close to me...
And you tell me:

Baby, you're not alone
'Cause you're here with me
And nothing's ever gonna bring us down
'Cause nothing can keep me from lovin' you
And you know it's true
It don't matter what'll come to be
Our love is all we need to make it through...

I still have trouble
I trip and stumble
Trying to make sense of things sometimes...

I look for reasons
But I don't need 'em
All I need is to look in your eyes
And I realize...

Baby, I'm not alone
'Cause you're here with me
And nothing's ever gonna take us down
'Cause nothing can keep me from lovin' you
And you know it's true
It don't matter what'll come to be
Our love is all we need to make it through...

Oh, 'cause you're here with me
And nothing's ever gonna bring us down
Cause nothing, nothing, nothing
Can keep me from lovin' you
And you know it's true
It don't matter what'll come to be
You know our love is all we need

Our love is all we need
To make it through...

Kurt was in tears, he stood up and clapped louder than anyone else in the room.

Blaine left the stage and stood infront of Kurt who kissed him. “I love you so much” He whispered.

“I love you too, babe.” Blaine said.

3 days later Cooper and Mrs Anderson arrived, both of them with more luggage than expected.

“Wow,” Kurt said. “How long do you plan on staying.”

“We both got small apartments in the city, I needed a change of surroundings and you two wanted to stay here, so why not move here.” Cooper said.

Mrs Anderson lurched forward and pulled Kurt in her arms. “Oh, sweetie. I'm so so sorry. I shouldn't have told you to stay away from him, baby, I'm so sorry.”

“It's alright, Mom, you just wanted to protect me.”

Mrs Anderson smiled at her son.

School started again soon and Kurt, Blaine, Jeff and Nick were happy they got out of their old schools. All of them had been bullied, none of them as much as Kurt but still.

Even though Cooper and Mrs Hummel payed Susi some rent for the lighthouse Blaine still played at the coffee shop. Kurt loved hearing him play. In the evening Blaine would teach Kurt some stuff on the piano and Kurt would complain that he'd rather listen to Blaine playing.

Blaine usually played for him. They were happy in their little lighthouse by the sea.
