Kurt woke up excited this moring, he was gonna go to a summer camp in England for 6 weeks. For him that meant 6 weeks of freedom. 6 weeks of happiness and 6 weeks of meeting new people. Even though Kurt was afraid of meeting people usually, he looked forward to getting away from the bullies, that he saw everyday here. Lima was small so Kurt saw the people he didn't like way to often for his own contentment. His Mom was going to drive him to the airport and then he would get on that plane and not see the bullies for 6 more weeks.
"Goodbye, sweetie, I'm gonna miss you."
"Bye Mom, gonna miss you too." Kurt said, hugging his mother for the last time for now 6 weeks. Hugging his Mom might not be something a 15 year old would do because of his status and whatnot but Kurt didn't care. His Mom had always been there for him and he loved her more than anyone else in the entire world, he couldn't himself if he ever was ashamed of her.
"Hey, is this seat taken?" Kurt asked, because even though he had a ticket some big guy wanted to sit next to his friends on the plane and asked Kurt if he could have his seat. Kurt had been afraid of the big one, thinking about the ways he could possibly hurt him if he didn't agree. So now he was standing on the plane that got ready to leave, and he still didnt know where to sit.
"Yes, it is. David asked if he could sit next to Wes so now its free. Wanna sit here?" Kurt blinked, once, twice. That cute guy, had just talked to him like a decent human being.
"Yeah. Yeah Thank you." He whispered. He lifted his backpack to put it in the right spot over there seats but it was taken out of his hands by the guy. Kurt hadnt noticed him standing up. He was distracted by the color of his beautiful eyes and his curly hair. That guy seemed somehow familiar to him. "C'mon, do you wanna sit next to the window?" The honey eyed boy said and looked at Kurt. "Sure thanks"
Kurt took his seat and made it somehow comfortable. He looked at Blaine lifting his backpack up.
The other guy took a seat next to him. "I'm Blaine by the way." he said. Kurt smiled "Kurt" he said.
Blaine took his hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you Kurt. What are u gonna do in England?" he asked. "I'm going to summer camp. What about you?"
"Wow, awesome, I do as well, wanna share a room with me?" Blaine asked his eyes lightning with excitement. "Yeah sure" Kurt said, not sure if he should warn Blaine about his sexuality. But he was not ready to ruin his new found friendship yet.
Blaine and Kurt talked through half of the flight until Blaine fell asleep leaning on Kurt's shoulder.
Kurt simply smiled and closed his eyes trying to get some sleep as well.
Blaine awoke shortly before the plane was going to land. He felt soft hair brushing against his face and he remembered meeting the cute guy that was now sleeping.
"Kurt, hey, wake up. We are nearly there."
Kurt opened his eyes sleepily and after he realized where he was he jumped a little. "Oh my God, I'm so sorry I fell asleep on you. I'm sorry,I'm sorry."
"Hey, calm down. It's allright." Blaine said, a soft smile playing around his lips.
In that exact moment the plane landed on the ground. After a few minutes they were told to leave the plane Blaine pulled their luggage out of the space above them and handed Kurt his backpack.
"Thank you." Kurt said. "C'mon" Blaine said and offered Kurt a hand.
Kurt stared at it in wonder. "Hey, I don't want you to get lost so c'mon, I won't bite you." Kurt blushed and Blaine thought it was the most beautiful and cutest thing he'd ever seen.
Finally the blue-eyed boy took his hand and Blaine pulled him out of the plane, into the airport.
Blaine interwined their fingers pulling Kurt with him towards a group of other people. Kurt blushed when one of the others, all guys, stared at their hands. "Ohh, Blainers finally found himself a boyfriend, good choice, bro." the dark-haired guy infront of them grinned and bumped Blaine's shoulder lightly.
Blaine grinned. "I have to dissapoint you, Nick. He isn't my boyfriend, yet."
"Aww, that's a shame, you two look so cute together." a guy with blond hair said, who stood next to Nick holding his hand.
Kurt hid a little behind Blaine blushing hardly. Yet. Blaine had said he wasn't his boyfriend yet.
Blaine sqeezed his hand a little as the guys turned away to join the other's conversation for a while.
"A little shy, are we?" Blaine asked lovingly, leting go of Kurt's hand and wrapping an arm around his waist. Kurt nodded. He really wondered why Blaine was being so nice to him and so affectionate. He had never met anyone who behaved like that towards him.
Kurt smiled. Blaine squeezed his waist tightly then let go of it and took his hand again, joining the others. Kurt laughed along with their jokes, gave his opinion on the different topics, answered questions. Blaine's hand in his, gave him enough confidence to do so.
Blaine was in love. He had fallen in love with the blue eyed boy the minute he had seen him, standing awkwardly and shy on the plane, not knowing where to sit. He usually never took a strangers hand especially not in public but he felt like he had to hold onto him or he might be taken away from it. Kurt felt strangly familiar to him, he was pretty sure he had seen those eyes, those beautiful, stunning eyes, before.
They reminded him of losing something really close to his heart.
When he looked into Kurt's eyes he could always see a hint of fear and sadness, as if someone had taken away this lovely boy's happiness and never gave it back.
But he also saw Kurt's eyes lighting up everytime he caught Blaine looking at him. His soft-looking lips curved into a smile in those moments. Blaine loved having that effect on Kurt the smile lit up his eyes and made them seem brighter and happier.
