"Oh my god, guys!" Jeff yelled and ran towards them hugging Blaine and Kurt at the same time.

Nick walked over as well and pulled both of them in a hug as well.

"Kurt, what happened to your leg?"

"Long story." Kurt said, smiling, happy to see his friends again.

"How about we get some coffee and breakfast somewhere and we'll tell you." Blaine said.

Kurt's stomach growled in response. The four friends laughed and made their way to the small

coffee shop they used to go to.

"Hey, I haven't seen you two in ages." The waitress, Susi said. She knew them because they used to go there every morning when they were still at the camp.

Before life came in the way. They went to their usual table and Blaine ordered for all of them.

After a lot of talking and explanations to why they were back Jeff and Nick looked just as shocked as Kurt was when he first found out about Blaine's dad's plans.

"But where do you guys live now?" Nick asked.

"We are staying at the old lighthouse, it's been empty for ages, I hope it isn't illegal but right now we don't really have a choice. It's pretty nice there though."

"Uhm, sorry to interrupt, but it was hard to not listen." Susi said, she loved the boys. She had grown attached to them after the first week.

"The lighthouse belonged to my granddad. He passed a long time ago and now it belongs to me."

"Oh" Kurt and Blaine said in union.

"We are so sorry. When we get back we'll leave promise, we were just so-"

"No" Susi said. "I won't let that happen. You two can stay there as long as you want. It is too far away for me to go and look after it since I have to take care of the shop. If you live there, I'd be totally fine with it."

"But, isn't it really expensive to you know, electricity and water and so on?"

"True, but after what I heard from you, about your parents I think it's the least I can do to help you guys."

"Then I wanna do something as well." Blaine stated. "I could play some songs here, I got a guitar and I have some songs I'd really like to share. You wouldn't pay me and you would get more customers."

"But you are only 15. I don't think you should work."

"Hey, it's not exactly working. It's me doing what I love."

"I could maybe sing?" Kurt said, it came out as a question.

"That'd be amazing." Blaine stated, he was proud of his boyfriend. He knew how selfconsious and shy Kurt was. He also knew that he never gave himself nor his voice as much credit as he deserved.

Blaine couldn't help but kiss his boyfriend's cheek, which had the boy blushing.

"I mean, you don't have to let us sing here." Blaine said, turing back to Susi.

"I will. Before any of you land out there on the street." Susi said. Blaine jumped up and hugged her.

Kurt joined the hug after he managed to stand up.

Kurt and Blaine had to go back to their new home earlier than Susi, Jeff and Nick wanted them to. Jeff and Nick promised to visit soon. Blaine and Kurt had still their luggage to unpack and get used to the home.

They wanted to clean up the mess in the fourth room in the basement and maybe make it their bedroom since they knew that they would stay longer than expected. They didn't need to pay rent and would be able to afford food with the tip money they got for now.

Kurt unpacked their clothes and put them into the cupboard, in the room they had slept in the night before, while Blaine fixed up some dinner with their new bought groceries in the kitchen.

When Kurt was done the sun started to set and went downstairs finding Blaine outside, infront of the small door, there was a little terrace. Blaine had found a smaller table than the one in the kitchen and had brought it out infront of their kitchen.

Blaine just put down some plates on the table, the kitchen had everything they needed in it, as two arms wrapped around him from behind.

Blaine had made pasta. After kissing Kurt he told him to sit down on a bench infront of the lighthouse with an amazing view at the sea. Blaine said next to him after putting the pasta down infront of them.

He intertwined his fingers with Kurt's as they watched the sunset.

"Have I ever told you how much I love you just for your romantic side?" Kurt asked.

"No." Blaine smirked, knowing really well that Kurt had told him that a while ago.

"Well, I love that side of you. In fact I love all of you." Kurt said.

Blaine cupped his cheek and kissed him. It was soft and gentle and slow. After a while Blaine pulled

away. "We have to eat otherwise, it's gonna be cold."

Kurt was hungry and he was pretty sure that this was the best dinner he had ever had. Blaine's food was delicious.

After dinner Kurt insisted to do the dishes since Blaine cooked already. They took a shower together, which actually left kurt feeling dirtier than before, just in a better way.

He really started being comfortable in his body, for the first time in his life.

He knew it was Blaine who made him feel like this.

Like he was beautiful, loved and cared for.

Blaine always looked at him as if he was the most precious thing in the world.

Blaine and Kurt went to bed early that night, they weren't totally exhausted or anything but they wanted to snuggle for a while before actually sleeping. Even though both of them definitely enjoyed going further than cuddling, it was still nice to just curl up and cuddle for a while.

"You know,Kurt. I know you probably don't wanna talk about it, but the scars you have, on your arms and your hips. Where do they come from, baby?"

Kurt gulped, he turned around lying on Blaine's stomach and looking him in the face. "You probably figured it out yourself, didn't you?"

"I think so." Blaine nodded. "Oh, Kurt I'm so sorry." He burst out and started crying.

Kurt took him into his arms, kissing his head. "What's wrong? Why are you sorry, babe?" he asked.

"I just wish I could've been there. Make your life better, help you and protect you from whatever made you do this."

"You remember those guys that came up to us the day we went to see my Mom at the hospital, don't you?" Blaine nodded.

"They used to bully me. That's also the reason I was afraid of the darkness the night we got together.

I was attacked once. When I was a junior my school crowned me prom queen.

I ran out crying, hiding in the dark locker room, the football team uses. Karofsky and Smythe found me. The had a knife. This is where the bigger scars come from, they nearly killed me, all I remember is waking up at a hospital the next day, Blaine, I was so scared." Kurt whispered tears running down his face, Blaine had stopped crying, not because he didn't feel like crying but because he knew, he had to be there for Kurt now. Kurt trusted him with all his heart. Blaine knew that otherwise he wouldn't have told him that.

"I found out that both of the jocks were gay, caught them in the locker room. From that day on they tortured me, pushed me into lockers slaped and punched me, insulting me. Smythe even tried r-r-raping me once. He, he found me he just tried grabbing my ass and tried taking of my pants a-a-and..." Kurt was sobbing now. He couldn't help feeling the pain and the fear, but he was also relieved Blaine finally knew him. Completely. And he was still next to Kurt, cuddling him close and not letting go until Kurt calmed down. He whispered soothing words into his ear and stroked his face. "Baby, shh, I'll protect you, promise. I won't let them hurt you again, okay?"

Kurt nodded into Blaine's T-shirt.

Oh, why you look so sad?
Tears are in your eyes
Come on and come to me now.
Don't be ashamed to cry, let me see you through
Cause I've seen the dark side too.

When the night falls on you,
You don't know what to do,
Nothing you confess could make me love you less

I'll stand by you,
I'll stand by you,
Won't let nobody hurt you,
I'll stand by you.

So, if you're mad get mad,
Don't hold it all inside,
Come on and talk to me now.
Hey, what you got to hide?
I get angry too
But I'm a lot like you.

When you're standing at the crossroads,
Don't know which path to choose,
Let me come along,
Cause even if youre wrong

I'll stand by you,
I'll stand by you,
Won't let nobody hurt you,
I'll stand by you.
Take me into your darkest hour,
And I'll never desert you.
I'll stand by you.

And when, when the night falls on you baby,
You're feeling all alone,
You won't be on your own,

I'll stand by you,
I'll stand by you,
Won't let nobody hurt you.
I'll stand by you
Take me in into your darkest hour
And I'll never desert you
I'll stand by you.

Ill stand by you,
Wont let nobody hurt you.
Ill stand by you.
And Ill never desert you,
Ill stand by you.
Ill stand by you.
Wont let nobody hurt you,
Ill stand by you.

Blaine sang Kurt to sleep, the boy never letting go of the elder. Blaine kissed Kurt's head where it rested on his chest.
