Elizabeth held her baby close to her chest stroking the hair out of the blue eyes. She loved him, more than herself, more than anyone. Her husband had passed away three months before Kurts birth. Elizabeth was still in the hospital, because after the birth of her child she had noone to come home to, noone to take care of her and her baby. But there was something that worried her, more than anything in the entire world. On Kurt's tiny wrist in black letters was his soulmate's name written. Blaine Anderson.
Elizabeth wasn't worried about the fact that it was a boy, no she would never worry about such a thing as long as her son would be happy and loved. She worried about little Blaine. She knew from the people at the hospital that last night a little boy was born whose Mom had passed away during the birth. Elenor Anderson. She grew up together with Elizabeth in the same street, the same garden, they had done everything together. Until she met William. She told Elizabeth that he was the man of her dreams, that she loved him and she was going to marry him. Kurt's mother was happy for the two of them. She liked William. He seemed sweet and caring in public, but one night around the time Elizabeth came home from a long day of work she heard Elenor scream and cry. As she had peeked through the window, she had seen William punching and slaping her.
The next day Elizabeth tried to confront Elenor about it. She said everything was fine and that she shouldn't worry. But Elizabeth did worry. Her friend was getting abused and she could do nothing.
One day, there was the point of no return reached, the former friends had a huge argument seperating them forever.
Now that Elenor passed away, Elizabeth was glad that friendship had been ended years ago. She had to be strong for her son now, and she couldnt be if she lost another person and she knew that.
The door to her room opened and a doctor stepped inside. "Elizabeth Hummel? I can inform you that your sons soulmate is really likely to be in the building right now. But I have to warn you. If it is Blaine Anderson whose father is William Anderson, then I might say, for your own good, you should leave, leave and don't come back. I know I am not allowed to give such advice as a doctor but I can't stend the idea of anyone leaving this hospital, dying, I'm really sorry, Mrs. Hummel."
Elizabeth stared at him in shock. "What do you mean, leave? I can't leave. I can't take my child away from his souldmate. I lost mine and I want my son to have a happier life than I had concerning my soulmate."
"I know, and it is completely understandable but when Mr. Anderson found out about his kid, probably being gay and then that you were the mother of his son's soulmate, he said he would kill him, before he could get near to his son."
Kurt started crying in his mothers arms as they entered the train to Lima, Ohio. It was far enough away from Westerville, Ohio, and it was all they could afford so far.
When Elizabeth sat down near the window, She saw a man carrying a curly haired boy in his arms.
Kurt looked out of the window. He put his little hands against the glass and was fixated on the baby with brown eyes and brown curls. Kurt pulled at his mother's arm to get her attention. Then he pointed at the other baby. "I know, I am so sorry, sweetie." She whispered to him, a single tear rolling down her face.
