Not only was love a factor in their relationship, but Blaine proposed. Kurt nearly jumped with excitement when his curly-haired boyfriend knelt down on one knee and asked him to marry him. Kurt always knew that Blaine was the one for him.
Which is why, now, nearly two months later, Kurt was sitting at the kitchen table going over wedding decorations with his boyfr-excuse me, fianc.
Kurt had never been more excited in his life. In fact, even his graduation and acceptance into NYADA a month ago couldn't top this. It was happening…Kurt Hummel was going to be a married man.
As he sat by Blaine's side, arm around the shorter one's shoulder, they eyed up the beautiful arrangement of pictures taken by the wedding planner.
"Why is this so difficult?" Kurt mused, chewing on his thumbnail. He released it out of his mouth before slamming it down on the table next to the black and white colored photos.
"Sweetie, it's just decorations," Blaine said, giving his fianc a dreamy look. "Why don't we just take a break for a while?"
"Because," Kurt said, getting up from the table to pick up the photos, "we decided to have a nice wedding, and I want it to be perfect."
"Won't it already be perfect?" Blaine asked. "I am marrying you, after all."
Kurt's heart soared at Blaine's words, a blush starting to form on his cheeks. "It will be perfect," Kurt said, staring into Blaine's eyes, "and you're right. We do need a little break."
"There's the guy I know and love," Blaine said, getting up. He walked towards the cabinets and pulled out ingredients for tea.
It was surprising how they both knew their way around the apartment. Kurt decided it would be better if they moved in together before the wedding in a few months. When they went searching, Kurt insisted that they move to New York since they would both have to move there anyway once college started. The couple nearly died when they saw this apartment. It was perfect. It was basically Kurt's dream apartment. It was spacious, had a wonderful aura, and, most importantly, Kurt loved how much interior design was already furnished in it.
"Do you want any tea, Kurt?" Blaine asked.
"No thanks," Kurt said, staring intensely at the young male.
"Why are you staring at me like you're about to jump me?" Blaine asked cautiously.
"Maybe because I am," Kurt said before taking a few steps forward. He embraced Blaine from behind, rubbing the front of his sweater smoothly before placing gentle kisses along his collar bone.
Blaine's head fell back with a moan, "Kurt, I'm going to burn myself."
"I had no idea you were into that kind of stuff," Kurt said, raising an eyebrow with a smoldering look in his eyes. Blaine's legs turned instantly into jelly by the sight of his companion.
Blaine's heart always melted when he was around Kurt. Especially whenever he looked into his sapphire eyes. They left him in a puddle of goo for hours on end.
Kurt leant down and licked the shell of Blaine's ear before sucking the lobe into his mouth gently and releasing it. "I'll be in the bedroom taking a nap," Kurt said, nuzzling his forehead into his lover's shoulders.
"No you won't," Blaine said with a laugh.
"How do you know?" asked Kurt.
"Because when you're this sexually frustrated, you never go into the bed to nap," Blaine said, turning around. "In fact, you do quite the opposite."
"Oh," Kurt said, grabbing the sides of Blaine's face into his hands. "You think you have me all figured out, don't you?" Kurt asked, Blaine nodding. "Fine, I'm not going in the bedroom to sleep."
"I had a feeling," Blaine said.
Kurt rolled his eyes with a smile before leaning in to capture Blaine's soft lips in a heated kiss. Blaine's breath hitched as Kurt dug his nails deeper into Blaine's unruly curls, deepening the kiss from a new angle. Before he knew it, Kurt swiped his tongue across Blaine's bottom lip, begging for entrance. Blaine happily obliged, opening his mouth. Their tongues danced to the music of their breaths and moans before their teeth clashed, not even bringing the two boys out of their reveries.
Blaine smiled, remembering the first time they had ever granted each other visas to travel south of the equator, as Kurt liked to put it. It was the night they proposed. Kurt was old fashioned and Blaine accepted that. He never wanted to push Kurt into doing something he didn't want to do. However, when in situations like these, it was kind of hard to stop once he started going.
The first time they ever saw each other naked was on the night that Blaine proposed. They hadn't done anything since then. They shared lingering kisses, groped here and there, but they never truly went any further. Blaine expected Kurt to become less nervous since they were going to get married soon, but he didn't want to upset him. Kurt had told Blaine once that his ideal first time would be on his wedding night. Blaine smiled at the thought. He was going to go all out on their honeymoon if it was the last thing he did. He wanted it to be special for Kurt, just like he wanted it to be special for himself.
Blaine was interrupted from his thoughts when he felt Kurt's erection press against his upper thigh. Blaine moaned, reaching his hand to Kurt's belt, wanting to make him come apart beneath him. After Blaine undid Kurt's belt and unbuttoned his jeans, he went to grab the zipper. Tongues were fighting against tongues when Blaine pulled his mouth away from Kurt's to trail kisses along his neck.
"Blaine," Kurt moaned, "I need you so badly."
Before Blaine could unzip his jeans all the way, the phone rang.
"Ignore it!" Kurt screamed.
Blaine obeyed as he unzipped the brunette's jeans and pulled them down to his mid-thighs. He knelt on the ground before he lifted Kurt's shirt to pepper kisses on his lower abdomen. When he slid his fingers into the waistband, the answering machine picked up, loud and clear to both of the boys.
"Hey, kiddo!" Burt's voiced echoed. "Call me back when you get this! It's about the honeymoon!"
When the answering machine kicked off Kurt huffed in annoyance, pulling his jeans up. "Fucking cockblock!"
"Kurt!" Blaine screamed in amusement and lust. "You never curse!"
"Well, when I'm hard as a rock and my dad decides to call, you kind of drop f-bombs all over the place," Kurt said, walking over to the answering machine to delete the message.
Blaine got up slowly, groaning when his hard cock brushed against the fabric of his jeans.
"It's sexy," Blaine said before attacking Kurt's neck with his tongue. Kurt moaned, but pushed Blaine away. "What wrong?"
"Nothing," Kurt said. "I just have to call my dad back. Plus, that was a total boner-kill, Blaine."
Blaine nodded reluctantly before kissing the pale boy's flushed cheek.
"I'm going to take a bath," Blaine said, turning on his heel.
"No you're not," Kurt said.
"Oh, you think you know me?" Blaine asked, imitating Kurt from earlier today.
"Yes, I do," Kurt said, walking up to Blaine. He cupped Blaine through his denim jeans and stroked slowly, "You're going to get off in that shower while thinking of me, aren't you?"
"Jesus, Kurt," Blaine groaned.
Kurt released him before turning around, "Don't use up all the hot water."
"Tease," Blaine mumbled before going into the bathroom, warming his water up.
Kurt went to his phone and dialed Burt's number. It rang three times before he picked up, "Hey, Kurt!"
"Hey, Dad," Kurt said. "I'm just returning your call."
"Oh, right," Burt said. "I just booked the hotel reservations in Orlando for you guys' honeymoon."
"Thank you so much, Dad!" Kurt squealed. "I owe you big time!"
"No problem, kiddo!" Burt exclaimed. "As a surprise, I paid for another two weeks over there."
Kurt's jaw dropped, "Dad, that's too much."
"Nothing's too much for my baby boy," Burt said. "Plus, I need to spoil you before you Blaine starts to."
Kurt chuckled, "Thank you so much, Dad."
"No problem," Burt said. "I also bought the park tickets, so you guys will have a wonderful time."
Kurt smiled before Burt continued, "I remember the last time we went to Disney World, Kurt. It was right before your mother died, do you remember?"
"How could I forget? Mom was the first person to explain to me that Eeyore had clinical depression," Kurt said smiling.
"Your mother would be real proud of you, son," Burt said, voice crackling, "and so would Carole."
"Dad," Kurt said, "do you need some company? Blaine and I could come over for a while."
Kurt was fully aware of his father's distress. Burt had no one to spend his life with, except for Finn and Kurt, and they were now heading off to college. Kurt wanted to spend as much time with his father as physically possible before he had to leave.
"No, son," Burt said, "it's okay. Finn is here watching a Buckeyes game with me."
"Are you sure?"
"Absolutely," Burt said with a laugh. "As a matter of fact, they're kicking ass right now. Plus, I don't want you guys coming all the way out here to Ohio just to come and make your old man happy. I'm always happy just getting a call from you."
"I'm glad to hear that," Kurt said, smile spreading across his face.
"Well, I just wanted to call and let you know what shenanigans I've been up to," Burt said. "Have you told Blaine about where you guys are going?"
"Actually," Kurt said, "no. Blaine has never been to Disney and I want him to be surprised out of his mind."
"I think he'll love it, Kurt," Burt said, "but not nearly as much as he'll love it coming from you."
"I know, Dad. Well, I have to go check on Blaine," Kurt clasped his hand over his mouth, eyes wide in reaction that he let it slip from his mouth.
"What's wrong with him?" Burt asked, alarmed.
"Nothing!" Kurt screamed. "He's just, uh, been in the bathroom for a while now."
"Shower?"
"Err, yes?"
"Sounds like he's—"
"Goodbye, Dad!" Kurt cut him off before the conversation could get more embarssing.
"Goodbye, son," Burt said with a chuckle before hanging up the phone.
Kurt smiled to himself. Blaine was going to love their honeymoon. He could feel it in his heart.
